Insecure!

Everyone was in Virat's room celebrating their win. Rishabh and Jassi were at either side of Virat telling him how they tried to help and he was just listening patiently looking at the balcony where Mahi and Rohit were talking.

Rohit stood there watching the stars. He felt a bit satisfied today after proving his Vi innocent.

Mahi came there and kept his hand on Rohit's and asked - "What are u thinking Ro ?"

"Nothing Bhai .. Aap batao u talked to Vi right ? What did he say?" Rohit asked.

"I talked to him .. We have to help him Ro. He is feeling too alone .. he himself don't know how he is feeling this way but he has this fear of us leaving him"
Mahi said softly.

"Bhai .. why this fear ? We can never leave him" Rohit said.

"I don't know Ro .. We cannot predict how this all has affected him right. What insecurities it has developed ? It's difficult Ro"
Mahi explained him.

"Ofcourse it's difficult.. it's so damn hard. To see my best friend like this. I just want everything to be normal.I so miss him." Rohit thought

"Ro where are u lost !" Mahi asked seeing him lost in thoughts.

"Don't worry okay we both will try our best to bring him back" Mahi said assuring him.

"We will" Rohit said.

"Let's go to him." Mahi said and they both went inside the room.

Rohit saw Virat was completely lost in his own thoughts even when Rishabh and Jassi were talking to him.

Rishabh and Jassi got from the sides of Virat and gave space to Rohit and Mahi.

Virat immediately leaned on to Rohit. Held onto his arm assuring himself that Rohit was with him.
Others left the room so that Virat could rest.

"Cheeku u feeling okay after everything?" Asked Mahi caressing his hair.

"I don't know Bhai .. I am sorry" said Virat still confused about his feelings.

"Why are u sorry Cheeku ? I am just asking bacha." He said softly to which Virat nodded and cuddled to Rohit again.

"Kya hua Vi?" Rohit asked softly seeing him holding his arm.

"U were not there with me for whole day .. I thought u will leave me" said Virat being so scared about his relations.

"How will I leave u idiot ? I was just helping Jaddu" said Rohit softly.

"I know I am sorry for feeling this way" said Virat being guilty.

"Don't be sorry Cheeku! Just be assured we are not going anywhere"
Mahi said trying to comfort him.

"Pakka? U both will not leave me"
Virat asked like a child.

"We will not leave you! We promise"
Said Rohit and Mahi together.

"Now from tomorrow u have to get back to schedule Cheeku. U need to get back on field"
Mahi said softly.

"I can't bhai. I don't think so I can do it"
Virat said not being confident about it.

"Why Vi ? Don't say like this. You have to be back as a captain now."
Rohit said.

"No I can't be the captain anymore. Team should have trust in their captain. The juniors didn't trust me at first place. I can't go back as a captain"
Virat said sadly.

"It's not like that Cheeku."
Mahi said trying to make him understand.

"It is like that Bhai. U don't understand. Even if the kids have done everything, I cannot forget that they didn't trust me. Team needs to trust the captain bhai"
Virat said getting all worked up.

"Okay, I get your point. Calm down now"
Rohit said softly.

"Let's first try to get back at gym and other sessions then we can proceed further"
Mahi said softly understanding his turmoil.

"U will be there na Bhai ?"
Virat asked him wanting his support now.

"Ofcourse I am not going anywhere."
Mahi said patting his head softly assuring him.

"Bhai pata hai aaj kal Vi ka dhyan hi nahi hai mere pe"
Rohit complained dramatically.

"Kyu kya kiya maine"
Virat asked being confused.

"I have not eaten a single thing from morning. I was working so hard. But both of u didn't ask me anything"
Rohit said pouting and complaining them.

"What ! U didn't had food"
Virat exclaimed.

"Wait I will order for us"
Mahi said and ordered food.

They had dinner together. Mahi and Rohit were worried about Virat's insecurities. They were determined to help him.

"Bhai, Do u think I should forget that the kids didn't trust me?"
Virat asked in a low voice.

"What do u feel Cheeku ? Do u want to forgive them?"
Mahi asked back.

"I don't know"
Virat said being confused.

"I think you should take time and figure out. Now u will be back among the schedules and the team. You do what u feel is right"
Rohit said trying to make him understand.

"Okay"
Virat said.

"Don't stress urself too much Vi"
Said Rohit softly.

Virat just cuddled to Mahi and slept after sometime.

"Rohit, u okay ?"
Mahi asked him seeing awake.

"I feel really tired and relieved too because everything is getting back"
Rohit said keeping his head on his shoulder.

"u have been there for him. He is lucky"
Mahi said being proud of him.

"I am lucky too bhai"
Rohit said.
