Imagine 35: Green Dress

Another day, another slay.

Well what I mean about 'slay' is that many boys are looking at me. I literally slayed girl. I'm beautiful darling and no one will disagree. 

Cuz' it's a fact!

"Y/N my girl~", my bestfriend, Nikka, says while waving to me like a beauty queen.

"Why are you waving like that?"

"Cause I want to, is there any problem with that? Want to fight with me??", she said in a very sarcastic way. I laughed.

"No~ I don't want to fight with my beautiful bestie~", I said then both of us laughs.

"Oh right! I heard there are new arrivals on Penshoppe, wanna check it out?"

"Of course~ I also want to buy a dress for our upcoming school reunion", I said then the both of us went to the mall. When we arrived there, we grab some drinks first because the weather is so hot, as hot as me *wink*

"Wow this drink is so refreshing bestie", Nikka said.

"Yeah~ Cucumber lemon juice with mint is my favorite drink ever", I said as I finishes my drink then we went to Penshoppe and started roaming around.

While I was looking around, a green dress caught my attention.

"Wow~ What a nice dress~", I said while checking it.

"This dress is just my style", I looked into the price and BOOM! It's so expensive.

"No wonder why it is so beautiful. Well I don't have enough money for now so I won't buy you baby, sorry", I said as I pouted. 

"Y/N??", a man called my name. Wait, this voice...

"Minghao? Good to see you here!", I said then he smiles.

Minghao is my high school classmate, my friend and also my crush. I do like him as a man but I'm not sure if he likes me too as a woman. I may be attractive to the eyes of many but when it comes to Minghao, not sure.

"How are you?", Mingaho asked.

"Well still fine, as long as there's fashion", I said then the both of us laughs.

"You still love fashion until now"

"Yes~ I just can't stop loving it. Anyways, what are you doing here?", I asked.

"Well, just roaming around. I'm bored", he said as he chuckles then he looked at the green dress.

"Your buying that dress?", he said then I immediately put it back as I shake my head.

"Nope! I don't have enough money for it, hehe", I shyly said.

"Then I'm going to buy it for you", he suddenly said and I'm about to say no but he already get the dress and pays for it.

"Here!", he said as he handed me the paper bag. MY eyes widened.

"Minghao, I really appreciate your kindness but I can't accept it"

"If you really appreciate my kindness, you should accept this. I will be really disappointed if you won't accept this", he said in a serious way. I sighed then accepted it.

"Fine, thank you so much~", I said then bowed to him. He laughs.

"Why are you bowing at me?"

"To show my gratitude? Hahahaha"

"Make sure you wear that on our school reunion. You're coming right?", he said then I nodded.

"Yep! Why won't I come?"

"Then that's great! Well, gotta go now. Bye~"

"Bye~ See you on our school reunion!", I said then he smiles and walk away.

"Y/N~ Look at this- Wait, was that Minghao?", Nikka said while pointing him.

"Yep!"

"Oh my gosh~ He became more handsome! Anyways, are you done picking some-", Nikka stopped when she saw the paper bag that I was holding. 

"You already bought one?! Why didn't you tell me?", she whines then I laugh.

"I'm not the one who bought this, this dress is so expensive"

"Then who bought it?"

"Minghao", I whispered on Nikka's ear. She gasped.

"What? Y/N he got a crush on you~", Nikka teasingly said. I rolled my eyes.

"Oh come on Nikka, stopped talking nonsense. Go pay for your dresses", I said while shaking my head. 

Well, I really just hoped I'm his crush.

SCHOOL REUNION DAY

"I'm so excited to meet our old classmates and schoolmates!", Nikka said as we enters the venue.

"Me too~ Oh hi Mingyu~"

"Hi Y/N~ You look stunning in that green dress. And hi Nikka~ You look more beautiful tonight", Mingyu said then I giggled.

 "You look more handsome today too Mingyu! Right Nikka?", I said then I saw Nikka blushing.

"Y-yeah! You l-look more h-handsome tonight", Nikka shyly said then Mingyu chuckled.

"Let's have a talk later Nikka. Gotta go now", Mingyu said as he winks at Nikka.

"I can feel the love tonight", I jokingly said then Nikka hits my shoulder.

"Stop it Y/N!"

"Attention everyone! Before we start our party, our prince Minghao has something to say!", one of our classmates said. Minghao appears on the stage while smiling.

"Good evening everyone! I'm sorry if I interupt you but I want to confess my love for this one and only woman in my life in front of you", he started and some of our classmates and schoolmates cheer.

"I wonder who it is", Nikka said. My heart started beating fast.

"This woman is very beautiful, of course, very smart and very funny. I approached her because I want to get close with her and I like her but I'm sure she didn't know that I have feelings for her, she's a little numb you know. She also really loves fashion, it's a part of her life", Minghao said.

"Y/N what if it is you?", Nikka suddenly said.

"Nikka it's impossible, I'm not his crush and I will never be"

"As time passes by, my feelings for her started to grow more and now I love her and I want her to be mine. I want that woman to become my girlfriend and wife, and that woman is Y/N", my heart skipped a beat.

Did I hear it right?

"Wait w-what? Me?", I said then Nikka started screaming.

"Bestie!!!!"

"Y/N, I know you are so shocked right now. I like you before Y/N and now I love you", Minghao said and my classmates and schoolmates started screaming and cheering.

"Some people may say it's too fast to ask you this but I'm sure you know that we have been friends for 10 years so Y/N, will you be my girlfriend?", he said in a very sincere way. My tears started to fall.

"Yes Minghao! I will be your girlfriend!", I shouted then the crowd cheered. Minghao smiled then he goes down the stage and went to me. He hugged me right away and I hugged him back.

"I love you Y/N. I love you so much", he said then I smiled.

"I love you too Minghao", I replied then he broke the hug and cupped my cheeks.

"You look so beautiful with that dress", he said then he pecked my lips.

Everyone cheered for us especially Nikka. It felt like a dream, but it's not and I'm glad.
