" how strange, to dream of you, even when I am wide awake "
- d.j.

As soon as Matthew and Lex got out of the tunnels under Hell's Kitchen and out to some alleyway, Matthew grabbed Lex's arms and slammed him against the nearest wall, pinning him there, clearly not looking for a fight.

Lex grunted at the impact, "The fuck?"

Matthew's grip on Lex's biceps we're tight, most likely going to leave bruises. The grip Matthew had on Lex, showed no intention of letting up.

"Alexander?" Matthew practically growled. "So isn't Lex really your name."

Lex rolled his eyes and tried to shove Matthew of him, Matthew's grip only tightened.

Lex looked away, "Whys it matter?"

Matthew grabbed Lex's chin, letting go of his right arm, and made him look at him, "It matters a lot, especially because Vladimir made it sound like he have connections to Fisk."

"Well I don't anymore," Lex snapped.

He used his right arm to punched Matthew in the stomach, he let go of Lex's other arm as he stumbled back a little.

Matthew only seemed more annoyed by that. He grabbed Lex's right arm and twisted it behind his back, Lex tried using his left to get him off but, Matthew grabbed Lex's wrist and held it.

Matthew was pressed against Lex's back, no gap and no way of Lex escaping his hold, they were pressed skin tight against each other. Lex probably would have been slightly turned on by now if he wasn't so far angry.

"Do you have connections to Fisk?" Matthew asked, his words going straight into Lex's left ear from their close proximity.

"I used to," Lex said.

Matthew twisted his arm more, "Explanation, now."

Lex glared at Matthew.

"I haven't talked to Fisk in five years," Lex said. "For all he knows I died when I was twenty-one."

"How I do know you're not lying, how do I know you don't tell him everything about me?" Matthew asked.

"Because I want to take him down just as much as you!" Lex yelled.

"How do I know you're not lying!" Matthew yell right back.

"Listen to my heart, arsehole," Lex snapped. "Do I sound like I'm lying?!"

There was silence for a few seconds.

"I used to work with Fisk, yes," Lex admitted. "But I don't anymore and I haven't for five years, Matthew."

"How long did you work with him," Matthew asked.

"From when I was fifteen to when I was twenty one," Lex said. "Six years."

"Jesus," Matthew said, letting go of Lex.

Lex took a few steps away from Matthew.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asked.
