Chapter 5

Jax POV
------------

We just came back from a run and everyone went inside. I didn't want to yet so I stayed out for a smoke.

A commotion started inside so I quickly finished my cigarette and entered the clubhouse.

When I did I saw someone I never expected to see again.

"Rachael?"
"Jax"

What is she doing back here? I mean I'm thrilled to see her but I didn't think I ever would again. I wonder if she brought out child and if she will let me meet her.

"What are you doin here?" I ask.
"I'm visiting. "
"Visiting? You ain't stayin?"
"No, I'm going back in a few weeks. "
"And our kid?"
"She's here. "
"And you gonna have her meet everyone then leave and what not come back for another year!" I said my voice raising slightly.
"Jax not now"
"Then when!"
"When I'm ready!" I yelled.

I saw Happy come forward with a baby girl in his arms. It was an odd sight.

"Jax calm down. " He demanded.
I ignored him and looked at the little girl.
"Is that her?" I asked softly.
Rachael nodded and took the girl from happy.

"Scarlett this is Jax.... he's um he's your daddy. "
"Hi!" She said happily.
"Hi darlin. "

Rachael handed me Scarlett and walked off a little ways.

Rachael's POV

I watched Jax with our daughter from a small distance. I tried to listen to what he was saying and only caught little bits.

Now that Scarlett has met her father I will probably have to visit more.

It was getting late and I noticed Scarlett getting tired.

"Hey baby are you ready to go" I asked.
"Yes mommy" she yawned.

I picked her up and she practically fell asleep on my shoulder.

"Alright guys were gonna go, we'll see you tomorrow.. Gemma will you give us a ride to my dads?"
"Sure rach I'll be right there."

I hugged everyone good bye. Well except Jax I just said goodbye to him. Then went and waited by gem mad car.

As we were leaving a new car pulled into the lot.

Someone got out of the car, and it was none other than Tara Knowles.
