Enhypen POV

It is 2am. After Niki went to bed, Sunoo and Jungwon went as well. The others were up, worried about their hyung. It has been 5 hours. 5 hours since Heeseung left. "He should be ok, right?"Jake asked. Everyone nodded. "He must just be trying to get attention by coming back late. Who knows, he may be partying outside."Jay said. (I swear I love Jay to the moon and back) When Jay said that, everyone seemed less tense. Imagine how painful it would be for Heeseungie if he heard Jay said that. Starting to get bored, they decided to watch a movie.

As they turned on the TV, the live news is always on first. It was as if the TV was screaming for their attention, they couldn't help but notice that this was the river near their dorm. "Guys, look. Isn't this the river near our house? There is an accident." All eyes went to the TV as the news played.

"Breaking News: Malfunctioned truck ran into a 21 year old boy that has been rushed to the hospital, identified as Kpop Group Enhypen member Heeseung. Moving on -" As the news played, the boys were too shocked too speak. One moment they were making fun of their hyung, but little did they know, their hyung was fighting for his life at the hospital. Sitting there in shock, jake only felt tears roll down his face, before uttering,"andwae...hyungie...is d..dying..?"

Just then, their main door was slammed open. Manager hyung was looking like a mess, Heeseung's blood stained his white shirt. "Guys, quick. Hospital. Now." They nodded, carrying the maknaes to the van before rushing to the hospital.

The drive to the hospital was silent, before the manager spoke. "Guys, I know this may be hard to take in, but we have to accept it. I think you know what just happened, yes?" Jay and the rest nodded. The members' hearts broke when they saw their manager hyung crumble in tears, speaking," I could've been there. I didn't reach in time. He was talking to me, and then the next second, all I heard was a smash. He lost so much blood when I arrived. He was so... pale. So cold." Manager-nim cried. Jake and Sunghoon couldn't help but cry out loud.

Not long after, they arrived at the hospital. The maknaes have woken up as well, confused. They were shocked as well when they heard their manager said Heeseung's name. As they ran to the mentioned ICU ward, they stopped at the door. The manager asked for them to breathe slowly, before pushing the door open.

The site was awful. Everyone couldn't hold back their tears, as they saw the oldest member, lying on the bed, machines surrounding him, his leg hooked up, bandages everywhere, oxygen tanks piled up beside him for him to breathe through the mask.

Jungwon ran to his side, panicking in anxiousness. The doctor then asked us to step outside to explain to us. "I suppose you are members of, Enhypen?"We nodded. "There are relatively good news, and bad ones. What I think is fortunate, is that he managed to survive that hit. Not everyone can survive a truck hitting them."The doctor continued,"However, the damages he suffered are not minimal. From the injuries I see here, he will definitely need time to heal. There is no part of his body that is fine. Broken leg, fractured arms, bruises,a concussion, punctured lung and 30 stitches." The member's jaws dropped another level.

As the manager continued to speak with the doctor, the members just went back into the room. Everyone crowded around their oldest member, praying for their hyung to get better. "Hyungg, can you hear me? If you can, wake up and look at me, hyung. Please,"Jungwon cried. Everyone just cried silently. They gently grab their oldest's hand and shake him to wake him up, but he just laid there so peacefully, like a motionless, pale vegetable, that had almost no response."Niki gently laid in his hyung's embrace, "Hyung, why are you so cold... Are you cold? You are usually warm, you always hugged me back. When I smiled at you, you always smiled back. What are you doing, you promised you will smile at me whenever I look at you. I'm looking at you, why are you not smiling?"Niki cried, hugging him as the rest of the members cried even more, memories of their oldest hyung so fond in their mind. His smile, his gaze, his behaviour, his cheerful, playful self. All gone.

A few months later...

Heeseung POV

I woke up to machines plugged to me, when everything hit me, the truck, the fight, the jealousy, the suicide attempt. As he thought about so much things, he saw his manager walk in, on his phone."H..hyung," I called. Manager hyung seemed so shocked tears fell from his face. "I'm back, hyung."

Enhypen POV

Our schedule finally ended and we went back to our new home, Heeseung hyungs ward at the hospital. As we made our way there, we walked in, only to see the bed empty. "What..? Where did Heeseung hyung go??? No.. what did they do to Heeseung hyung? Where is he?"They started panicking. Jay rushed to call their manager. "He actually woke up. This morning. He should be on the rooftop, chilling. I think." As we ran to the nearest staircase, a familiar voice rang in our ears. We turned around, to see our one and only hyung, slowly walking out of the doctor's office. As he bowed to the doctor, he lifted his head. To face the people he didn't want to see.

Heeseung POV

As I thanked the doctor, I saw them. My members, staring at me with tears rolling down their faces. It has been 3 months since I saw them. I stared back at them, trying my best to get away, pulling my IV drip with me as I turned, and hobbled the other direction, with my broken leg and fractured arms. "Hyung! Where are you going!" Jungwon shouted to me. I felt so broken, looking at them. "Don't touch me!" I tried my best to shout as loud as possible, but only came out to sound normal. "Why are you guys here?"I tried to keep my cool. "For you of course."Niki replied. "Are you feeling better, Niki?" I lifted my hand to his forehead, but he just pushed my hand away. "That was 3 months ago, hyung." "Oh, I forgot.Mianhae,"I muttered.

"I'm sorry that you need to see me like this. I'm sorry you have to waste your time here. I'm sorry, you have to be worried and concerned about me." I said, before limping away. The next second, I was engulfed in a hug. By all of them. "What are you talking about, hyung... Of course we are worried. Why are you apologizing for that?"Sunoo said.

"Do you guys think I'm extra? You guys didn't need to care for me. You guys shouldn't be here. I'm supposed to take care of you guys, I'm your hyung,"I said, crying softly. "I'm sorry I made you think that way, hyung. I forgot all the times when you were taking care of us when we were sick and I guess we took that for granted,"Jay said.

"Hyung, please don't say that you're a burden, we really cherish you and we need you, ENGENE needs you. Don't even think about leaving us or horrible thoughts anymore, ok?"Jungwon continued. "You thought I won't find out? You could get out of the way of the truck, but you chose not to."Jungwon said. When he said so, the members looked at me half-shook, half-sympathy.

After the misunderstandings cleared, the members accompanied their older brother along the entire way nursing him back to health, and Heeseung couldn't be happier that he is well-cherished by his members. He felt like he truly belong.
