NAT'S POV

I left him unanswered.

It was better that way. Kung nalaman niya, pipigilan niya ako makipag-divorce. He would tell me na ayaw niyang lumaki ang magiging anak namin without his last name.

I would rather do that kesa naman lumaki ang anak ko na playboy ang tatay niya.

And speaking of baby, I'm on my sixth month. At ang laki ko na.

Noah was right.

I am pregnant with twins. Boy and a girl.

Pag naglalakad ako, lagi akong may kasama. Paminsan si Noah, paminsan si Callie. Pero madalas si Ollie.

"Natalie, dahan-dahan lang. Baka mahulog ka." Ollie said, holding my arm.

"Ano ka ba, Oliver? Mas praning ka pa kesa kay Mama." I said.

"Paano kung mahulog ka? Ako pang sisihin ni Tita Edith." he said.

Humawak ako sa banister ng hagdanan. "Ayan na po, nakahawak na po. Pwede na pong bitawan?"

When he let go of my hand, huminga ako ng  maluwang.

Today, I was going to work. My last week of work, actually. With my growing belly, halos hindi ko makita ang mga papeles ko. And other than that, I was feeling quite delicate kaya sabi ni Mama na tapusin ko na lang ang week na 'to.

"Bakit ka pa ba magtratrabaho? You're rich and you're pregnant." Ollie told me nang pumasok kami sa car niya.

"Because I love my work at ayaw kong maging lantang gulay sa loob ng bahay. Aba, sa tingin mo hindi ako marunong ma-bored, think again!"

Ollie chuckled as he started the engine. "Bakit ba ang hot mo ngayon? Ganyan rin ba katindi ang mga mood swings?"

I frowned. "Eh, sa buntis ako. At isa pa, dalawa ang mga babies sa tiyan ko. I think I have every right to be cranky kasi parang turumpo ang mga anak ko sa tiyan ko."

"Okay. Okay." He started driving. "Paano na po kung hindi pa po napirmahan ang mga papeles, kamahalan?"

"Oh, wow. Kamahalan agad?"

"You're avoiding the question."

I sighed. "If he doesn't, my babies will have his surname."

"And you're gonna stay married to him." Ollie said.

"Way to go, Captain Obvious." I said. "Ang galing mo talagang nagsi-state ng mga obvious facts."

"I'm gonna let that one pass." he told me.

We drove in silence and I sighed. "I'm sorry, Ollie."

"Ha?"

"Sorry for being cranky."

"It's okay. I understand. Basta pag natapos na yan, walang cranky, okay?"

I nodded. "Opo."

I was fixing my bag nang naramdaman kong nakatingin si Ollie sa akin.

"What?" I asked.

"Don't do something reckless, okay?" he told me.

I frowned. "Ollie, for the last time--"

Siya rin nag-frown. "Just, please... Okay? No buts. Just be safe. If you don't want to do it, do it for the babies."

"Oo naman, Ollie. I will do nothing to risk my babies." I said. "At huwag mo nga akong tinatakot-takot ng ganyan. Tumaas pa blood pressure ko, bahala ka."
