Surrounded by a black space around us, the Doctor turns his head towards the camera.
Doctor:
The Daleks – my oldest and deadliest of all my enemies. They are back. We need to prepare ourselves for the mightiest Dalek invasion force that is about to attack Earth.
We see a Dalek saucer flying in space over the Earth.
BBC 1 Announcer:

The theme music plays as we see a Dalek at the controls of its ship.
Dalek:
MAXIMUM FIREPOWER! EXTERMINATE ALL HUMANS! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!
We cut to see the city of London burning. Daleks exterminate innocent lives as people run terrified of them. The Doctor's voice is overheard from the devastating destruction.
Doctor:
The Earth doesn't stand a chance. Nothing even remotely human will be able to stand in their way. And it's all my fault!
BBC 1 Announcer:
