Arabella

"𝐀𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐲𝐥𝐚"

My twin hugged me tightly, his tears falling down my neck as he repeatedly whispered how much he loved me.

This was definitely the most emotional I have ever seen Nicolo. Yes, he was the happiest male I knew. But he never cried. Like ever. Even when we watched Avengers Endgame together, not one single tear was shed.

"It has been a painful two weeks." He mumbled, moving his head away from my neck and staring down at me. I snorted, rolling my eyes as I wiped the single tear left on his cheek.

"I'm here now, little brother." He scowled at the name and took a step back. As he did, Roman took this as his chance to hand me the happy meal that I asked for.

Giddily, my eyes zeroed in on the delicious smell that landed right in my lap. As mum sat next to me on the bed, rubbing small circles on my unharmed thigh—Roman started unwrapping the fries and the burger for me.

"You're going to have to break it to your dad soon," She said, looking between both Roman and me.

"Are you more worried about that than your own daughter," I pouted, shoving a fry into my mouth. She scoffed, lightly smacking my thigh. "As if, Arabella. I'm just saying, you should tell him rather than he finds out himself."

"Roman's obviously not being very business-like with you right now, is he?" She gestured towards Roman who was taking the pickles off my cheeseburger, and upon that, he looked up almost innocently but with cold eyes—glancing between us both silently.

I giggled and patted his cheek as I turned to my mother. "We'll break it to him after this," I mumbled, bringing the cheeseburger to my mouth as I savoured the goodness.

It was honestly like a sigh of relief. As I absorbed my first bite, Roman sat on my other side, watching me silently.

"So cute," Kara mumbled, kissing my forehead as she lightly brushed my hair with her fingers.

Yes, everyone was currently in the room. Aydan, Nico, Theo, Roman, Mum, Uncle Eliot, Aunt Vi, Uncle Dre—who is, by the way, still tearing up—Kara and then Dad, who is not here at this very moment.

No, we weren't allowed to have this many people inside the hospital room. Though, who were they to complain? They were practically telling off the Devil, if so. That's why they didn't even try.

Aydan replaced Kara's position and stood beside me, wrapping a strong arm around my shoulder—lightly. He showed me something on his phone—as I was occupied with the slightly narrowed glare being sent towards poor Aydan by none other than my boyfriend.
