"Devin I swear to god if something happened to my baby imma fuck you up! What did you say to her?!" Alyssa yelled as she was worried sick about Armani. It was ten at night and she ran out the house at nine. Devin and Alyssa have been trying to get in contact with her she hasn't picked up her phone. "All I told her was that I wish she was never here" he said sitting back. She went over and slapped the hell outta him. "What the fuck Armani! What's wrong with you?! Devin do you ever understand what comes out your mouth nigga!? But I swea-" her phone then started ringing. She picked it up. "Hello?" She spoke. " Is this Alyssa Tatum?" A woman spoke. "Yes who is this?" She said. "I'm Stacy Richardson. I work at the Phoenix select emergency hospital and I'm here to inform you that your daughter Armani Paris Booker is currently here" she said. Alyssa looked at Devin with fear in her eyes. "Did something happened to her?" She asked as her heart was beating fast. "Um she was shot, and slashed a couple of times. She was shot in the neck and leg. We're assuming she ran from where it all happened and collapsed in the entrance. Are you in Phoenix?" She asked. She started crying and Devin looked at her. "Im sorry ma'am" she said. "Yes! Yes! Im Phoenix" she said into the phone as Devin got up. "Well if you guys could come down that would be great". "Yes! I'm on my way" she said trying not to scream. "What's wrong" Devin asked holding her. "Armanis at the hospital we have to go now!" She said. Devins eyes went wide. "What!? What happened to her!?". "She was shot and slashed. Devin let's go now!" She screamed as she cried. They ran towards his car and zoomed off. He grabbed her hand and tried to keep her calm. tears dropped from his eyes onto his shirt as he felt guilty. If hadn't said those words to her nothing would've happened to his baby girl. After speeding all the way they finally made it. They both wanted answers to who had done this to their baby but they only wanted to know how she was. They ran into the hospital. "Hey how can I help you?" The receptionist asked. "We are parents of Armani Booker. Can we please get her room number?" Alyssa said. "Ma'am calm down-" "don't tell me to calm down. What's her room number". "Ma'am I understood but your gonna have to wait right now". She said Alyssa wanted to strangle her if she did not giver her Armanis room number. "Look what's her room number?" Devin said stepping in. "312" she said. They ran to the room 312. When they got there they saw doctors in the room trying to see what's wrong. "Guys you can't be in here right now" a male doctor said pushing them out the room. They tried to push him away but he had shut the door on them. Devin pulled Alyssa into a hug as she cried. "I know love" he said. He pulled his phone out letting his brother know what was going on. They sat down as they were nervous enough. They wanted to see their daughter now. "Who had the heart to do this to her" she cried. Devin got mad thinking about the person who was responsible for doing this. Within 10 minutes his mom, sister and brother were there. "Oh my god. What happened?" His mom asked hugging both of them. "They shot her" Devin said choking on his tear that threatened to spill from his eyes. His mom pulled him into a hug as he cried. His brother hugging latto and his sister crying. His phone started ringing and he saw it was his friend miles calling him. "I'll be back" he said walking away. "What happened bro!?" He asked. "They shot Armani man" Devin said. "Bro there's a video of her running towards the hospital" he said. His heart sunk. "What?" "Yeah someone sent it to me and it looked she lost mad blood dude. They shot her in the neck Devin" he said. Devins vision got blurry from the tears that formed again. "I'm on my way" miles said before hanging up. Devin looked at saw that he had sent him the video. He went back to where everyone was at. "Guys theres a video of her running here" he said. They all looked confused. He clicked play as they all looked. They saw Armani stumbling and struggling to stay standing. Her clothes was soaked in blood as she grabbed her neck trying to cover the wound then the video ending by her collapsing. That made Alyssa cry even more. "Family of Armani Booker?" A woman said. "Yes" Devin said. "You guys can go see her" she said. They got up and went into her room. She laid there looking lifeless. They cried as she had a slash on her arm and neck. A bandage cover the wound of where she was shot at. Her face was white. Devin went over by her side and grabbed her hand. He kissed her hand. Alyssa went over and gave her a kiss on the cheek. She stroked her hair as she wiped her tears away. Then a doctor came in. "Hey guys. I'm doctor mason" he said shaking their hands. "So um due to the injuries she has lost blood and mostly from her neck. She has a very rare blood type so if the parents could get tested to see which of the two have the same blood" he explained. Devin and Alyssa stepped out. That left Devin's mom Veronica, Mya and Davon on there with her. Davon and mya got up. They went by her side. "I can't believe it" mya said. "Don't worry. She's a fighter" he said giving her a kiss on the head. They sat back down hoping that she woke up. Then Devin and Alyssa walked back in. They went right back by her side. "What did they say" Veronica asked. "They said they'll be back with the results in ten minutes" Devin said. He hugged Alyssa as she hugged him back. Then Alyssa's sister Brooklyn walked in. "I'm sorry" she said hugging her. "She's gonna be okay" she said. "Mom said she'll make it here by tomorrow" she said. "How are you" she asked Devin. "I'm okay" he said looking over at his beautiful daughter. Then another doctor came in. "Guys if you don't mind stepping out for a sec" she said. They all walked out and waited. Latto let Paul know and he was on his way back. She hesitated to tell Devin because she knew he'll be mad. Devin let Kenny know and she said she'll be there. Kendall and Alyssa actually talked it out so they stand in a good place. But Devin and Paul still got their hate for each other. With minutes Kendall showed up. "How is she?" She asked hugging Alyssa. "They haven't said anything" she said. She then hugged Devin and gave him a kiss. She hugged everyone else and waited. An hour passed and no answer. After waiting for what felt like forever a doctor came. "Parents of Armani Booker" the doctor said. Devin and Alyssa went over. "So the results came in and Devin has the right blood type so if y'all could step into the room with her please" she said. He nodded. "Thank you" Alyssa said. She walked in with Devin and sat down. They looked at Armani. "Crazy how life can take a turn so fast" he said. She nodded. Then another doctor came in. She hooked Devin up for the blood transfusion. She grabbed devins hand and he kissed it. She weakly smiled at him and the door flung open. They looked over and saw it Paul. "What the fuck are you doing?!" He semi yelled. "What?" She said. "Why you grabbing his hand?" He asked upset. "Okay first off lower your tone. Second off he's trynna comfort me because his and my child is hurt" she said. "So if you came her to put a fucken show then you can leave" she said. "But your my girl-" "and he's my baby daddy. Calm down or go" she said. He looked at Devin as Devin mugged him. He nodded and walked out. She breathed. "Why are you with him?" Devin asked. She rolled her eyes. "It's not the time for this" she said. He rolled his eyes. She got comfortable and suddenly fell asleep. Devin smiled at her. Even though they aren't together she has his whole heart. He misses her body next to his at night. He misses her. And while Alyssa it was the same thing. She missed her zaddy (Devin😏). She'll admit it she loves him more than Paul. She knows how much devin loves her but he cheated on her. He still carries that guilt with him two years later. He then turned his attention on his kid. She looked beautiful. She shares more features about him but has the attitude of her mom. Feisty, sassy. But she's also a hot head like Devin. Short tempered, thinks she always right,things don't slide with them. He's trying to learn how to communicate with her without saying things like that. Then the door opened and it was miles. "Hey bro" he said going to dap him up. "How you feelin" he asked. "Like shit. Like it's too much to handle" he said. "She's gonn be good big guy". He made his way over to Armani. He looked at her and he felt kinda sad. That girl is never tired. She's always on her feet doing anything. He gave her a kiss on the cheek. He gave her a sympathetic smile. Then a doctor walked in. "Okay. Well thank you" she said taking the needle out of his arm. She went over and gently grabbed Armani's arms and placed a clean needle attached to Devins blood bag. The nurse slowly pushed it in and put it up beside her. "I want her to wake up so bad right now" Devin said. Miles looked at him and patted his back. "Don't worry. She's a tough one. She very strong" he said.
Couple of hours later
It's now two in the morning. Alyssa was knocked out. Devin went out and saw his family sleeping a bit. "Guys come I'll take y'all home" he said. They got up. He went back into the room and got his car keys. "Baby girl I'll be back" he to Alyssa. She nodded and went back asleep. Devin put his jacket over her and gave her a kiss on her cheek. He went over and gave a kiss to Armani. He went back out to take them home
