Majarlika De Luna

Majarlika crumpled the paper again for the nth time. She then spread another sheet of blank paper on her working table. Isang buntong hininga ulit ang pinakawalan niya bago muling magsimula.

"What in the mess is this?"

She smiled timidly. It was Tria.

She smiled cutely at her. "I bought you coffee!" She entered the room. "Ang dami namang mga papel nito!" She put down the drinks on the table and squatted to pick the papers on the floor. "Woah! Ang ganda nito! Ba't mo naman nilukot?"

Napasandal na siya sa kanyang upuan. "It has a lot of errors, Tria."

"Wala namang mali sa nakikita ko..."

"Because you're not an architecture student," she pointed out.

"Right," she chuckled. "Anyway, I won't disturb you any longer so you can continue doing your thing.

She blinked. "You'll stay over?"

"And I'll be your willing slave for the night," she winked. "I know it's gonna be the start of your hell week again so hayaan mong magpaka bestfriend muna ako sayo."

"You're the best, Tria," she smiled.

"Ako lang 'to," she laughed. "Good luck, future architect!"

She was once again lost in her own track. Even the tiniest ones need to be detailed and precise.

This has become her dream ever since she stepped foot in the resort. How she made a lot of wondrous ideas on how she'll improve and make it even more dreamy and homey.

She wanted to build a place suit for people who aim for a stop over. for a rest. for breathing space. for being lost for a while. for finding the way back.

She heaved a one deep sigh and smiled breathlessly.

She reached for her phone and read a message from Grale.

Boyfriend:

Hey, baby. Busy?

Can I call?

I guess you're still busy. Don't forget to eat dinner, okay.

And sleep, too.

Call me when you have time.

I miss you.

She just typed her replies and stood up.

She's really putting up with this slave bestfriend thing.
