Hi, person reading this. I hope you liked this book. It's been through an entire other draft as well as a few revisions.
Writing an original story and characters was a challenge, but with a lot of hard work and time, this story was created.

Iamscaredofspiders' Fun Facts
-The book was originally set in autumn. Zoey and Erin met in psychology class and met up later at a café. Eventually that idea was scrapped because of the song "Summer Skin" by Death Cab for Cutie. The young love and summer freedom of the song inspired a whole new idea that seemed much more appealing. Plus, summer oddly gave more time to write and allowed for a more developed relationship between Zoey and Erin.
-The character's aesthetics were completely different. Zoey and Erin have been through some BIG changes over time. Zoey was supposed to be more "band tees and ripped jeans" while Erin had more of a cottagecore thing going on. That was eventually changed because the aesthetics really didn't work together, and they didn't have any common interests. Also, Erin's whole cottagecore thing turned her into some "cinnamon roll" that really gave off female Evan Hansen vibes. Here is a mediocre drawing of their beta designs:

-They were supposed to swap hair colors. While SPICYMEME thought that Erin should have red hair and Zoey should be brunette, I thought the opposite way. I won that argument because i am superior😎
-There was a secret extra character. Since it was supposed to be set in school time, we needed a good friend character. His name was Conner. He had curly brown hair, was extremely tall, and smoked insane amounts of weed. It would be difficult to fit him into the story in summer, so he sadly had to say goodbye to existence. He was annoying anyways. #ripconner😢 -------------------------- Anyways, thank you for reading this book!
