Remus knew about Sirius' family. He knew they abused him and he hated them. He hated them all, he didn't like what they put Sirius through. Sirius would sometimes crawl into bed with him cause he had nightmares.
"Sirius! Why would you do that! You can't just take my stuff with out permission" Remus groaned
"I'm your boyfriend—"
"You should at least ask first," Remus said
"I had to make sure" Sirius groaned
"Make sure for what?" Remus asked confused
"Parkinson told me— you two had sex— and said she left her necklace there. I wanted—"
"You though i cheated on you!" Remus yelled throwing his hands in the air. Sirius flinched away making Remus gasp.
"Re—"
"Y-you just flinched. Y-you thought I was gonna h-hurt you" Remus stuttered walking backwards
"No, Remus" Sirius shook his head
"I know your history, a-and you thought I'd hit you" Remus shook the tears away
"Moony—"
"N-no. I'm go-gonna go" Remus sniffled walking towards the door
"Remus please. I'm sorry—"
"No, I'm sorry. Im sorry I ma—made you think I'd ever lay a hand on you like that. But I— I have to go" Remus left the room leaving a sobbing Sirius.
James entered the room confused saying "why is Moony? Woah— are you okay?"
"H-he— I" Sirius shook his head sobbing to the ground, James jumped in action holding his best friend not knowing what happened.
"Did he break up with you?" James whispered as Sirius only shook his head sniffing.
"No, h-he just threw his hands i-in the air an-and I flinched. H-he was sad Prongs" Sirius sat up looking down at his lap.
"Oh Pads, I'm sorry." James rubbed his shoulder
"I know he wouldn't hurt me, bu— but its a h-habit I picked up on." Sirius whispered
"Look at this on Remus point of view. He knows about your parents, and he loves you very much. He doesn't want to hurt you. And when you flinched it probably made him think if he was a bad boyfriend—" James explained
"He's not." Sirius butted in
"We're in Moony's point of view right now Pads. What would you do if he flinched?" James asked
"Oh god!" Sirius gasped getting up
"Where are you going?" James asked standing up
"To find Moony, thank you Prongs" Sirius said giving him a thankful smile before walking out of their dorm.
When he finally found him, he saw Remus' feet dangling on the edge of the astronomy towers'. He saw Remus smoking with tears in his eyes and cheeks.
"Moony" Sirius whispered loud enough for his boyfriend? — to hear.
"Sirius — um — I—"
"I'm so sorry Rem. Please, I didn't mean to okay." Sirius said walking towards him
"Sirius, I love you so much that I've told you so much times that if you weren't happy to leave. I've been so insecure because who could love me — no don't say anything let me talk. I never thought you'd ever love me back. Cause I'm a monster, b-but I'm not that kind of a monster" Remus cried
"I know Remus, okay I'm sorry. I was just so used to getting hit by my so-called-parents. That I forget that I'm not with them anymore. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me okay? Please, Remus" Sirius said
Remus threw his arms around his boyfriend sobbing in his shoulder.
"I would never hurt you like that Pads" Remus whispered
"I know, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry" Sirius said tightening his arms around his waist.
"I love you" Remus said pecking his lips only for Sirius to deepen the kiss. He peppered the werewolf's face whispering small 'I love you's'.
