It was a normal school day.
Simon slammed his locker shut and looked at his locker neighbor, Grace. Every time he was around her, his brain went haywire, and all he could spit out were basketball and Big Bang Theory jokes.
He wished so much that she knew how much more she meant to him... but he knew he wasn't that brave.
So as usual, he walked away to math class, yearning for all the world that he could spin around and tell her how special she was.
