Beware of those that you have shamed –
Those people you have wrongly blamed.
For what was done shall soon come back
To creep upon the tainted tracks.
The stones that once were kicked around
Can form and rise -- an earthen mound
That soon shall bury those who had
Upon those pebbles stepped and trod.
Do you know not what rules were born
That to our woe the earth adorn?
Our lives are one connected chain –
A balanced scale of loss and gain.
Beware, beware! Or you’ll behold
Exclusion from the common fold.
For you and I are puny, weak –
The voices that can never speak,
As is the fate of every one
That in this realm have come and gone.
