I pulled up at the barbecue place, texting Minho that I had arrived.

We had been texting and calling each other all week, and I had to admit, he was really growing on me. He was annoying, teasing me all the time, but I just couldn't help it, he was just so perfect. His giggles made me smile, his habit of blinking during our facetime calls made me laugh, he just made me happy.

Today was the day of our lunch date... god it sounds weird calling it a date, but anyway, we had decided that if we wanted meat, it'd be best to get barbecue.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't dress up. It would be rude to just show up in an old t-shirt and jeans, but I didn't have many 'good' clothes either. So I improvised with a tucked-in white t-shirt that surprisingly didn't have any stains, high-waisted black jeans, and an oversized black button up on top of it.

As I got out of my car, I get a text from Minho saying he had arrived as well. Using my hand to shield the sun, I looked for him.

Before I could text him about his exact location, a motorcycle pulled up next to me, and a boy in a white shirt with a leather jacket and black jeans pulled off his helmet. I recognized the peach-haired boy immediately.

"You have a bike?" I raised an eyebrow as Minho climbed off.

"Nope." He grinned "I borrow it from my friend Changbin to make cool entrances when meeting new people."

I laughed at his honesty. "You made an impression all right. Shall we?"

He nodded, and we headed into the restaurant.

We ordered the meat and waited, making small talk.

"So, other than catnapping, what do you do for fun Miss Y.n." he leaned back on his chair.

I rolled my eyes. "Well, I'm lazy and I watch animal memes all day, listen to idol music, and I like hiking."

"I have an interest in hiking too." He grinned and I smiled, happy to find something in common. "Do you know the place near our neighborhood? That separate path up the mountain?"

"Yess! I go there all the time!" I squealed in excitement. "Wait, do you know about the little creek?"

"Oh yes, I twisted my ankle trying to cross it."

"Yikes I wanted to cross too, but I knew it would be too dangerous."

"Well, sadly, I didn't have the brain cells to figure that out back then. Just laid down on the forest floor until the pain was bearable."

The meat arrived then, and I picked up the tongs to start grilling.

"No no, I'll do it." He offered, looking like a concerned parent.

"No, it's fine." I gave him a reassuring smile. "I'm the one treating here."

"No, I physically can't let you do it." He said firmly, taking away my tongs. "It's like trauma."

"Okay." I leaned back on my chair. "There must be a story behind this."

He sighed and began his sad tale while placing the beef on the grill.

"Well, you know must know of our friend group from Seungmin." He said.

"Hm yeah, the six other dudes who kidnap him every weekend. Never recognized you in that crowd though."

"Cuz I ride solo baby." He winked and I cringed.

"Kidding, Seungmin and I can't be in the same car without getting into a crash so we keep our distance, more about that later."
