Chapter 6

Rose woke up with an arm draped around her waist. She turned around and faced Marko. She kissed his cheek and got up. She always woke up earlier at the weekends because her shift starts earlier. It takes her at least an hour to get ready.

She got up and looked in the mirror. Marko was nice and didn't leave any hickeys on her neck because of the marks David gave her the night before. He roughly kissed her neck instead.

She opened her wardrobe and pulled out a pair of light blue denim shorts and a white crop top. Once she put on her shorts she felt arms wrapping around her waist ''Morning sunshine'' Marko said in his raspy voice. Rose bit her lip a little. ''Hey'' she replied

She pulled his arms away to put on her crop top. ''Pass me my makeup bag please babe'' she asked.

''Oh so I'm your slave now'' he smirked and passed her bag.

''Yes. Get some clothes on'' she giggled and sat on the floor in front of her body length mirror and started putting on her makeup, while Marko was putting his clothes on. Rose brushed her hair and put two black hair clips at the right side of her head. She put on her thick choker to hide David's remaining marks

''C'mon'' Marko held her hand and took her to the main room. The boys greeted them and carried on back to their group conversation. Rose sat on the couch next to Dwayne then rested her legs on his lap and wrapped her arms around his shoulders. He kissed her jaw softly and wrapped his arms around his waist.

''Be careful tonight, Rose. If anything happens you better let us know'' David said. Rose lit a cigarette ''I'll be fine. And if anything happens I'll let you know. I promise.''

''Good''

''We need to go before I'm late for my shift'' Rose said. The boys nodded and got up to take her to Max's

Rose got off of David's bike and waved at the boys and she went inside the store. The boys waited till they knew she was safe inside before they left.

''Hey Lucy'' Rose smiled warmly

''Hi, Rose how are you?'' Lucy smiled back as Rose went behind the counter

''I'm good thanks. Just to let you know, I met Michael last night at the concert. He's really nice. He agreed to meet up with me after my shift'' Rose laughed

Lucy beamed at her ''I'm so glad you get along already. He really needs to meet new people and he's not very sociable. This is going to be good for him''

Rose smiled back. 'Lucy is going to be good for Max' she thought

Eliot walked into the store for her shift. Rose rolled her eyes then smiled ''Eliot! You haven't met Lucy our new partner. Eliot this is Lucy, Lucy this is Eliot''

''Pleasure to meet you'' Eliot shook her hand

''Pleasure is all mine'' Lucy smiled and shook back

After the introduction and small talk, they got to work. Lucy was at the till, while Rose and Eliot stocked the shelves. Eliot dared to talk to Rose

''Hey''

''Are you here to call me a slut again'' Rose said without looking at her

''I actually came to apologise. Look, I didn't mean anything by it. I was pissed off at how they always come to annoy me and they treat you like a sex toy.''

Rose turned around and faced her. ''You really don't know what's going on, don't you?''

''What do you mean?''
