Like I expected minutes after I got in the door I ended up in a room alone with Steve.
Steve: "tell me y/n, what really happened, I've had all day to think about it and came up with some things I'd really like you to tell me aren't true" oh know he probably figured everything out didn't he, I can't let that happen to i recited the excuse I'd also been thinking about all day
Y/n: "it really was nothing, I was cutting some fruit for myself at breakfast and my hand slipped, I was embarrassed because I'm usually really careful when cooking and I didn't want to worry you, sorry" he looked skeptical but said
Steve: "alright, but don't be afraid to tell us next time ok?"
Y/n: "I promise not to get hurt cooking again" I always choose my words carefully, I hate lying, I never promised to not get hurt at all.

Steve pov

I wasn't completely sold on y/n's excuse but she obviously wasn't going to say anytime soon even if it was a lie and she promised anyway so I just left it and went on with my day

Wanda pov: Saturday

Me and vis kept our eye out for y/n after Fridays incident, the only thing I noticed was that some nights I'd hear her get up to go to the bathroom but never hear the toilet flush

Bucky pov: Monday

Baby Barnes seemed so weird during meals sometimes and often happened to be busy of working on something when we ate together. Other times she'd just take her food upstairs. Maybe she was still a little nervous around us

Nat pov: Wednesday

Y/n and I had just started training, I just taught her some self defense moves and left her try them on me, but she always wore hoodies to train even after she started sweating profusely, and she stumbled sometimes as she got up

Stark pov: Friday

I noticed baby Stark's weird behaviour more since I saw her having a panic attack. Whenever she looked like she was about to have one, which was concerningly often she always disappeared to her room and returned mere minutes later looking absolutely fine which was strange since I knew no one could ever recover from panic attacks that quickly. One day I decided to follow her to her room to see if I could help her but she wasn't there. I saw a small metal object on her bedside table though, a razor blade, I wonder why this is here...

Tony: "hey Bruce, have you noticed anything off about baby Stark, I think there's something up with her"
Bruce: "I never noticed anything, she must have been shaken from the whole fostering ordeal but I think she's adjusted well here"
Tony: "I know but I've noticed signs of panic attacks from her frequently, almost everyday don't you think that's worrying"
Bruce: "you could always ask baby banner herself, or Peter, or get Friday to keep and eye on her" that's a perfect idea! I talked to Friday and told her to inform me whenever y/n showed signs of a panic attack. I set the alert to important.

Later that afternoon I was in my workshop with Pete we were working on his new web shooters, he told me y/n had the idea and I was felt oddly proud as he explained everything she told him. A minute later Friday started speaking
Friday: "Mr Stark I should inform y-"
Tony: "FRIDAY I said don't interrupt me and the kid when we're in our element"
FRIDAY: "but sir you set this alert to important, it's my protocol to tell you at anytime"
Tony: "what FRIDAY?"
FRIDAY: "it appears baby Stark is having a panic attack"
Tony: "shit, kid let's go"
Peter: "your keeping tabs on y/n!? And how did you know she had panic attacks"
Tony: "later kid, I wanna see what this is all about" I held up the metal object from my pocket and Peter looked terrified
Peter: "nonono please tell me you didn't find that in her room"
Tony: "please don't tell me it is what I think it is"
Peter: "...y/n didn't want anyone to know"
Tony: "well too late I'm not letting it go now I know" as I said that we both arrived at her room and opened the door unhesitantly. Y/n was crying silently and gasping and coughing trying to breath properly. She was rummaging though her bedside table and looking all over the floor. Peter immediately ran to her and hugged her she flinched obviously not noticing someone had come in but relaxed into Peter's arms as he whispered someone into her ear I stood there for a little while before coming before her.
