A love hidden underne...
"I think it went well! Everything is back to normal!", I said after Sam and I ended our live.
"I'm glad we got that out of the way!" Said Sam as we high-five and sat on my bed.
"Yeah! I mean can you imagine if— Sam? Yoo-hoo? You good?" I asked as I saw Sam staring intensely at the sleeve of "my t-shirt".
"Is that Tom's shirt!?" He asked with a bit of anger in his voice.
"What!? What makes you say that!?" I said as I stood up from the bed.
"Cause I borrowed that shirt when I went to a club and someone burned the left sleeve with a cigarette and it left a hole... right... here!" He said as he showed me the hole.
"Our clothes must've gotten mixed in the washer. I have the same shirt to sleep in so I thought I could try something new and add some style... I guess I failed!" I said awkwardly as I struggled with my lies. I hated this. Before this thing started, I NEVER LIED! Ok i mean little white lies to protect someone, yes, but even then, I would later on tell them the truth. Now! I'm constantly lying! And to my best friend no less!
"Ok...? Anyways... what do you want to do tonight?", asked me Sam.
I knew Tom wanted us to go out... but how could we do a regular date without Sam knowing..?
"I don't know... I ummm..." I tried thinking of another lie but nothing came to mind! When Harry burst through the door.
"EM! I— Oh! Sam! Hi! Ok um... oh! Sam, do you want to hang with me and Harrison? We thought we could try that new pub on the Main Street!" Said Harry looking out of breath and kind of pushy.
"Sure... Em you want to come?" Asked Sam.
"Actually! I'm still a bit wrecked from the other night so... I'm gonna skip this one. But you guys have fun!" I said as I faked a sick expression.
"Ok! Come on! Let's go mate!" Said Harry as he pushed Sam out the door. He came back into my room and rushed to me and whispered: "wear something nice! You have 25 minutes, so chop chop!" He said, clapping his hands as he left the room.
"Yes sir!" I said as I made an army salute.
I hurried to my closet and found the perfect dress:
