CHAPTER SEVENTEEN - HAPPY TO BE ME

ALL OF US WERE OUTSIDE the base as we were wearing our ninja training suits. "Ta-da! This is the Superstar Mode Star. It works with your Gold energy when you add it to the Superstar Blade that Sarah made." Mick explained.

"Nice." Preston complimented, fist bumping Sarah.

"Whoa, a new mode for me?" Levi asked.

"Yes, sirree!" Mick replied.

"Cool." Levi said.

"Give it a try." Mick told him.

"All right." Levi took the star from Mick. "Ninja—"

Before Levi could transform, he ended up getting attacked by some sort of energy, making us be alert.

"Levi!" Brody called out.

Tynamon laughed. "Tynamon used some kind of spell on you!" Preston exclaimed.

"Are you okay?" Sarah questioned.

"I'm fine." Levi responded. But it wasn't in his voice, instead it was Tynamon's.

"Aren't I? Wait, my voice!" Levi exclaimed.

"What'd did you do to my brother?" Brody asked.

"I'd like to know too." I added. "What did you do to my fiancé you Ursula wannabe?"

Tynamon laughed. "Isn't it obvious?" He questioned in Levi's voice. "Oh, don't I sound great? I've got the voice of a Ranger!" He said as he continued laughing and disappeared.

"He sounded just like you." Hayley pointed out.

"Tynamon must have switched my voice with his!" Levi said.

All of us were at school by the pool table. I was wearing a green tank top.

"I just don't get it. Why would the monsters mess up your voice?" Hayley asked.

"Well, the Ninja Stars respond to Ranger voices. Without his voice, Levi can't morph. So, that's one less Ranger to fight." Sarah answered.

"Plus, I sound awful. My singing career is toast." Levi said.

"Don't say that." Hayley tried to reassure him.

"Preston." Levi said.

"Mm-hm?" Preston answered.

"You said Tynamon put a spell on me, right?" Levi questioned as Preston nodded his head. "Well, you can do magic, so how about reversing it?"

"Uh..."

"I need my voice back." Levi told him.

"It's not that simple. I don't know what spell he used, so it's harder for me to undo it." Preston informed.

"Will you at least try? Please." Levi questioned.

"Yeah, sure. I'll check my spell books." Preston finally agreed.

"Thanks." Levi said as Preston walked away.

"Man, I sound ridiculous." Levi commented.

"Ridiculous? You can say that again!" Victor agreed as Monty laughed.
