Marinette's POV

I couldn't help but jump up and down in excitement.

It had been the longest time I'd gone to a concert with friends! Especially when it was Jagged Stone!

All of my other friends liked XY- not really my style. But them- they seemed to-to get me a bit better...

I wasn't the only one excited; everyone on the boat was buzzing with energy.  Luka even gave a cheshire grin.

Everyone agreed to meet back at the boat at 7:00.  Rose and Juleka had gone shopping to plan their outfits and Ivan had gone on a date with his soulmate, Mylene to spend some quality time with her before the late Saturday night concert.

Right as I was leaving the boat I saw Luka's mom.  I smiled and waved to her.

She gave me a soft smile before replying, "Hello dear I'm Miss Anarka- and I'm the captain of this boat!"

"Nice to meet you, Miss Anaraka," I nodded with a giggle.

"So... how do you know Luka?" Ms Anarka said with a slight tease in her voice.

"Oh- uh- he's my tutu-TUTOR* TUTOR." I laughed getting ahead of myself.

She smiled and nodded as I tried to pick up something on the floor, but Ms. Anarka stopped me.

"Don't do that Dearie! Messiness is a way of life!" She roared joyfully before patting me on the shoulder and whispering, "You'd be good for Luka, just promise me you won't break his heart."

"I-" and with that she gave me a wink and left.

After that, I couldn't bring myself to leave the boat and get ready but instead I made myself back to Luka's bedroom.  I don't know why or..

I couldn't help but stare at the posters on his wall.

It was so loud, creative, artsy, and yet so quiet and minimalist like to his personality.

I didn't realize Luka had come in or how long he had been watching me.  I jumped as I saw myself being met by a smile on his face.

"Hey Ma-Ma-Marinette, you coming?"

I nodded laughing as he came to join me once again in his bedroom.  We stood there for another minute admiring the posters on the wall.

Taking a guitar pick off his wall, he handed it to me.

It was a crescent shaped one just like Jagged Stone's logo.

"Oh-Luka-"

"Keep it, believe me I got plenty."

"Tha-"

RING!

I looked down at my phone to see, 'Adrien💚' calling.

Luka's smile faltered a little, "You should take tha-"

"Nope!" I said cheerfully as I declined him.

I looked up and smiled at him, "Now where were we?"

"Marinette don't you wanna answer your phone?"

"Well right now I'm having a conversation with you and it would be rude if I picked up and left for my boyfriend." I rolled my eyes playfully.

I saw him look down at me weirdly.  I would say that he was blushing-but... he was Luka.  Luka doesn't blush.

"Marinette- er- if you don't mind me asking how did you-how did you know..."

I cocked my head in confusion as he continued.

"How did you know you were in love- With Adrien- how did you know what love was?"

I smiled and sat down next to him on his bed.

"Love-well love is strange... it can change how you feel about someone in an instant... it's-its weird... if I'm gonna be honest the first time I met Adrien I hated him- I thought he was stuck up and snooty- (then again I was like 6) but then one day- in the change of a butterfly's wings- he handed me an umbrella." I laughed to myself.

"A-and I know it sounds crazy-" I laughed again, tears stinging my eyes, "but that's when I knew I loved him and he loved me... the way he looked at me- the way his kindness and compassion shown through the downpour in front of us-it was perfect." I whispered feeling myself break down into a small sob.

I felt Luka next to me falter and shift as if he was going to hug me but to my disappointment- Disappointment? Wrong word choice...uh... to my dismay in my time of need* yeah that's a better way of putting it- He stood up and left.

"You should go get ready-I'll do the same." He said quietly.  I froze. I had never seen him speak so soft.

I stood up and nodded, leaving him.  If I stayed I would have heard a sniffle come from him but I didn't-

-Le TimeSkip, Cause' I'm a Lazy Author-

Luka had been acting strange all night since that moment.

I eyed him weirdly as the rest of our friends buzzed with excitement and found our concert seats.

The row was filled except for this one empty chair next to me and Luka.  It said reserved on it and Luka and I both rolled our eyes.

'So bougie.' I thought to myself.

"So bougie." Luka stated out loud.  I looked at him for a second and laughed.

He broke down laughing with me, feeling content enough to sit down- the color globes flashed in our face before the show began.

Before we knew it everyone in the stadium was out of their seat dancing and cheering, including me.  Luka on the other hand, was sitting in his seat-his hands folded.

I guess he was trying to look at Jagged's guitar technique.  He still tapped his foot though. (I'd call that I win.)

I laughed as I was spinning and doing random dance moves with my body to the beat.

Luka looked up at me and snorted.

"What?" I pouted, crossing my arms.

"Nothing you're just the dorkiest dancer I've ever seen-" he laughed.

I opened my mouth to give a snarky remark but my words were drowned out by the roar of the crowd.  The crowd wasn't cheering for Jagged though...

The "reserved" seat was soon filled by the one and only, ladies and gentlemen, my boyfriend: Adrien Agreste.

Luka and I both froze.  I saw Juleka glance down the row and frowned at the sight.  I felt Luka stiffen unbelievably as I was met by the pair of green eyes I so adored.
