The dorms smelt like brownies.... Scratch that, burnt brownies. Chan sat up once the smell hit his nose and ran out to the kitchen. He saw Seungmin sitting at the island, head in his hands with a tin of what Chan assumed was the burnt brownies.

"Seungmin?" Chan asked with uncertainty, not knowing if he was little or not.

"Hyung..." Seungmin sounded so defeated when he looked to Chan. He looked tired and upset.

"What's wrong, Seungmin-ah?" Chan asked.

"You're looking at it... Another failure." He sighed, "I'm never going to be able to cook anything. I just wasted all those ingredients. I'm a failure."

"Seungmin, you're not a failure. Some of us aren't that good at cooking. That's not something to be ashamed of." Chan stated, putting his hand on the younger.

"But it is, hyung! Felix used to be bad but now he's like... a five star michelin." They both chuckled at the reference.

"Yes, but Felix had a lot of failures before that. He still messes up some things." Chan smiled, remembering Felix burning stake once and being so upset that he claimed he'd never cook again.

Seungmin sighed, "I know, it's just annoying. I feel like I try so hard... I just don't understand it. I think the kitchen hates me."

"The kitchen doesn't hate you, Min." Chan laughs. "Look, we can scrap these, and we can both work on brownies together."

"I used up the ingredients though." Seungmin pouted.

"Ingredients for what?" The two jumped at the third voice, seeing Felix in the kitchen.

"Felix-hyung, I'm so sorry. I used up the ingredients to try and make brownies and..." Seungmin apologized, sighing when he motioned to the failure.

"Well... I'm glad I went to get more brownie ingredients."

"Why did you get more?" Chan inquired.

Felix blushed, "Um, well, I wanted to make a brownie cake."

"How would a brownie cake work?" Seungmin asked.

"Well, it's just making the brownies, one smaller than the other. The smaller one goes on top and you frost them to look like a cake."

The two shared their realizations with an 'ooooh'. Seungmin looked down with a pout, "But... now what? I burnt the one."

"Well, we can still do a cake... it just won't be two-tiered." Felix smiled, putting the bag of ingredients down. "Let me just throw these out and we can work together."

Seungmin nodded, swinging his legs back and forth a bit.

"How'd you not slip into little space while doing brownies, by the way?" Chan asked as they waited.

"O-oh... I did while I was waiting for them to bake. I think that's why they burnt... Seungie doesn't understand time well." Seungmin played with his fingers.

"Did you want to slip and have Seungie help us? Felix and I are both here, we'll take good care of you." Chan smiled.

"I don't know... It'll get messy. Maybe when we decorate? That way it'll be less of a mess."

Chan nodded, "That sounds good. I'm sure he'll love the decoration you do." The two chuckled.

"Alright, pan's clean. Sorry it took so long, some of the brownies were stuck. Did you not grease the pan?" Felix asked, setting the clean pan down.

Seungmin blushed, "Um... I had to grease the pan?"

Chan and Felix laughed, "It's alright, Seungmin. Here, I'll show you." Felix smiled, showing him how to get the pan ready. "Alright, Chan-hyung, can you preheat the oven to 350F?" (idk what that'd be in C...Going off of what little I know lol)
