One fine evening, your mom yelled your name. "I'm on my way" you sighed as you were confused as to why you got called downstairs again. "Honey, your dad got an amazing opportunity for a job in Seoul, Korea. If you insist, we will move as soon as possible. You can go to an international school and learn Korean in the meantime. I have pictures of the place where we would live right here. It has a lot of old traditional Korean houses, and i think it looks very cozy for a small family like us. You immediately fell in love with these pictures. "That... that looks like a dream!" I've always wanted to visit a place like that... Please get the job dad! Your parents widely smiled and were obviously happy that you guys are able to go. You jumped into their arms and hugged and hugged until you realized you're gonna say goodbye to your hometown. "I kinda don't want to leave this all behind... But i guess it's for the best. We are gonna have a new start in a new country." Your parents smiled and nodded. "We can celebrate a new way of life here. We will go in a week, you better start saying goodbye to all your friends already while we'll contact your school, and our family of course. We will come back every now and then to visit friends and family, but for now let's focus on moving. This is gonna be a long process."
A lot of goodbyes, moving, carrying and planning later...
It was the day of moving. Your alarm rang and you were already excited. You got ready for the long, long airplane flight and packed the last few things needed. At 08:00 am you guys headed to the airport. You got your flight tickets and the rest of your friends and family were standing there, waving as you guys walked off into a new start. The airplane was pretty chill. There was music, movies, food and no crying children. It carried on for so long though. And even though you made a huge playlist of songs, you ran out of songs in no time. Your parents slept through almost the entire flight, but you were way too excited.
"What kind of people will i meet here? Will they be nice? Will they have the same interests as me? How is the food? Will the village be obnoxious? Will there be other people from my country on this international school? How does an international school even work?" Endless thoughts and questions crossed your mind. It's not easy to immigrate to an entire new country, but you liked experiencing new things.
Hours and hours later, it was finally announced that the plane will be touching down soon. You woke your parents up and you guys were all nervously waiting for the upcoming event. Then, you felt the plane hitting the ground. It gave a comforting, "no way back anymore" feel. Everyone got their luggage and got off the airplane. You and your family closed your eyes and inhaled.
"We are really here now. This is our future."
Then you guys picked up the car and drove to Bukchon Hanok Village. It was an hour riding from the airport, but it felt like 10 minutes. There were so many pretty places in sight that it all went by too fast. When you guys arrived, your eyes widened. "Wow..." you all said in sync. Your mom parked the car and took the keys for the new house. The door opening was such a legendary moment.

When you first saw the inside of the house, it felt like heaven. Your parents were impressed too. "I think this is the best choice of house we could ever make. It's cozy and traditional, but big at the same time. Perfect for us!" he laughed it off.
"Well... let's unpack! We have a week until y/n's first day at school will start!" your mom said while smiling.
There was an entire team hired to help place furniture everywhere. Surprisingly, it only took 2 days. Which meant that you guys had 5 days for your own. You decided to treat your parents on delicious kimbap, since that is their favorite Korean dish.

"Our first meal here!" you said with lots of joy in your voice. Your parents were very thankful for this dish, and for you for being so helpful during the entire moving process.
"I really hope we're gonna have a good time. I have a lot of trust in this." your dad said. Your mom and you nodded in agreement and munched right after. Then your mom poured you and your mom a drink and toasted.

[Yay! My first chapter~ I'm so excited to write further to this and i hope you guys will enjoy it! I don't really know what to add here yet... TT but support Highlights comeback on may 3rd! Junhyung used to be in that group (for me he still is tho. ot6 forevah!!) and Gikwang is still in there.
