Chapter-16

The guardian just nodded.

"Okay now, Rose I want you to tell me what happened with you from the start." Alberta said.

I took a deep breath and started.

"I was with Guardian Belikov near the gates when the first strigoi came, Guardian Belikov killed him then there were seven more, I managed to kill three of them, then there were more coming and Guardian Belikov told me to go and tell the first guardian I see about this, so I ran as fast I could and found Guardian Petrov and told her everything, she then told me to go with other novices to the dorms building, when I was there I saw there were many moroi present too with novices. Then I realized that Princess Vasilisa was not there, she was near the guardian's gym near a tree, I went there then eight strigoi attacked me, they didn't actually saw the princess because she was behind a tree, I managed to get her out of there and killed that eight strigoi while doing that I got a little injured." I was going to continue when Alberta interrupted.

"What injuries Rose?" she asked.

" Two broken ribs, a broken wrist, and a head injury." I replied. She didn't really look happy by my answer but nodded for me to continue.

"After that, I was going back when I saw Guardian Belikov and Guardian Alto fighting around ten strigoi, I helped them because they were outnumbered, after we managed to kill them, Guardian Alto went to the infirmary because he had some serious injuries and I left too but then." I stopped because I didn't know If I should tell them about the bond or not.

"What is it, Rose?" Dimitri asked me.

"Should I say about the bond?" I asked him, not loud enough for everyone to hear. 

"Rose they are all trusted guardians here, you can." he said. I nodded.

"Well, before I proceed further you all need to know something." They all nodded.

"Some of you may know this, Princess Vasilisa and I have a bond and we can talk, through the bond which means that we don't have to say anything really we can just say that through the bond." I said, some didn't believe me, some were shocked so I knew I had to prove them.

"Okay I can prove this If you want." they all nodded.

I called Lissa then. And kept the phone on speaker.

Ring...Ring...Ring

"Hey Rose." she said in a happy voice.

"Hey, Liss."

"Where are you, I went to the infirmary but they said you left. Are you in your room? Are you okay? Is anything wrong?" she said with a worried tone. Some of the guardians smiled and I chuckled, classic Liss always worried.

"Liss I'm okay, listen now I'm going to say something to you through the bond and I want you to repeat that okay?" I said.

"Okay." she said, I knew she was confused. I put her on hold and showed the guardians that she can't hear us then asked them what to say so they won't think that we must have planned this.

"Say my name, it's Nicholai Smirnov." everybody agreed to that and I nodded.

"Lissa?" I asked her through the bond.

"Yes?"

"Okay, now I'm in guardians lounge in a meeting I'll tell you everything later. But right now I'm going to give you a name and I want you to repeat that when you're not on hold okay?"

"Okay." She replied. 

"It's Nikolai Smirnov." I said.

I resumed the call so Lissa was not on hold.

"Okay lissa, you can now say it." I said.

"Nikolai Smirnov, that's what you said through the bond." Everybody who didn't know about this earlier was shocked out of their fucking minds.

"Thanks, liss, I'll talk to you later." I said.

"Okay, see ya." with that I hung up.

"So now do you believe me?" I asked everyone who was in the room. They all just nodded.
