Chapter-13

I actually had tears in my eyes, it felt so amazing knowing that my mom loved me. I knew she cared but telling me that she loves me made me so happy. Looking at mom, she was also on the verge of crying, I knew what I wanted to do so I went to where she was sitting with Abe and hugged her with everything that I had,  Well my legs were still hurt but she was just a step away, with that hug I showed how much I have missed her and that it's okay, everything's gonna be okay now, she hugged me back, and with that hug, she showed me how much she loved me and how much she missed me. I felt great and so amazing to hug her, my mom.

When I was back to where I was sitting with Dimitri, I was not nervous or anything of talking to her, she was my mom and I can talk to her about anything.

"You know  I seriously thought that there would be a Hathaway explosion." I said, laughing about the fact how scared Dimitri looked when mom said that she knew everything.

"Oh believe me kiz, there was gonna be a Hathaway explosion, it's just I told her to calm down and think about everything that's when she stopped shouting at everyone and thinking about all the ways she could kill Belikov." Abe said laughing.

"Oh no, thank you so much, Abe," I said laughing "Wait, kiz?"

"That's daughter in Turkish." Abe said smiling, I guess he was waiting for my reaction.

"Oh," I said, not really knowing what to say. "Will you teach me, Turkish I mean. I would love to know more about my dad and about his culture and everything, also learning a new language will be a good thing too. Dimitri here never agrees on teaching me, Russian." I said after a minute, If he was making an effort I will too, and he realized that I guess, also he smiled when I called him dad.

"I would love to, Rose." He said with a sweet smile. I nodded, smiling.

"Well Roza, you just want to learn how to swear in Russian," Dimitri said, with an amused look on his face.

"Hey, that's a start at least and I just want to express myself." I replied innocently, smiling. 

Everyone laughed at that.

"Oh god, Janine she really is our daughter," Abe said still laughing, and that made everyone laugh again.

After that, we all talked for about an hour, and it felt great, I felt that I had a family. Then mom said.

"Oh, Rose, Belikov, we need to go to the guardian's lounge for a meeting." By the way, she said, I knew she was enjoying our family time but duty calls.

"Why me?" I asked. Well, it should have been guardians why would they call me.

"You are the only novice who killed strigoi, others were either safe or who tried to fight died some had help from guardians but no one actually killed any strigoi also you were taken." The last part she said with a sad look on her face. And even Abe and Dimitri looked, worried, sad, angry, well there were a lot of emotions.

"Hey guys, it's okay, I'm okay. Now let's go. The Hathaway's should make an epic entrance, right mom?" I said, making everyone smile and laugh at what I said. Then me Dimitri and mom went to the guardian's lounge for the meeting leaving Abe in his room.
