Okay, so I figured I should do a FAQ containing questions from you guys. Hopefully this clears things up. But if not, then you are more than welcome to contact me.

1. What is the 'Book of the Week' challenge?

This is an open challenge for everyone. You do not have to apply for it to take part in it or to be the chosen BOTW. I'll be selecting a book each week by the author who I feel has had the most helpful/honest comments, completed tasks on time, is respectful to everyone etc. The book will be of any genre and rating, so don't read it if you don't feel comfortable with the content. However, those that have chosen to participate (your name will be put on the list) will have to read (and comment) on a minimum of 3 chapters (or more if you want) of the selected book. Each comment must be a minimum of 2 sentences and must contain constructive criticism and or advice (i.e. things you liked and things you think they can improve on; do not be vague). Failure to do so will result in a strike.

2. What is the 'Pairings' challenge?

I'll be choosing your partners for the week according to your interests and dislikes. You will have to read and comment (at least 2 sentences per chapter) on a minimum of 3 chapters (or more if you like it). You must also include constructive criticism and or advice for each comment (i.e. things you liked and things you think they can improve on; do not be vague!). This is a compulsory challenge (if you selected it) and will result in a strike if not completed on time. Once you've completed your part, either PM me or comment below saying 'done' and (if you'd like) an overall comment of your partner's book. If your partner hasn't completed their part, message me and I'll remind them.

3. What is the 'Heaven's Choice' challenge?

I'll be putting you in groups of 3-5 (maybe more) people, according to your interests and dislikes. You will have to read and comment (at least 2 sentences per chapter) on a minimum of 3 chapters (or more if you like it) for all of the books in your group. You must also include constructive criticism and or advice for each comment (i.e. things you liked and things you think they can improve on; do not be vague!). This is a compulsory challenge (if you selected it) and will result in a strike if not completed on time. Once you've completed your part, either PM me or comment below saying 'done' and (if you'd like) an overall comment of your partner's books. If the other members in your group haven't completed their part, message me and I'll remind them.

4. What challenge(s) am I allowed to do?

You are allowed to do whatever challenges you like. You can do all of them, or one. Whatever you choose it's up to you. You can always change your choice at any time, once confirmed with me.

5. What do I have to comment on?

You have to comment on a minimum of 3 chapters. Each comment should be at least 2 sentences containing things that you liked and or disliked about that chapter. If you comment saying things along the line of, 'Great chapter', 'Please upload soon', Love this' etc, then I will not count it as a comment and you will have to do it again.

6. Can I join?| Is there enough space? | Will I be accepted?

I accept all genres/ratings/topics of books so everyone can join in. This book club is always accepting new members, so as long as you fill in the form you will be accepted.

7. What if I have more than one book?

I only accept one book per author in order for everyone to receive a fair chance. However, that doesn't mean you can't change your book at any given time. All you have to do is inform me first.

8. What if my partner(s) doesn't complete their part at all?

Then they will receive a strike and will not be able to participate in future assignments until they have completed their part.

9. What is a strike?

If someone doesn't [1] complete their part or [2] disrespects the rules then they will receive a strike. This means that they [1] will not be allowed to participate in the next assignment or any further assignments until they complete their parts or [2] will have a permanent strike that cannot be removed. 3 strikes = removed/banned from the club.

10. How can I get a strike removed?

If you received a strike you may get it removed by following all of the rules and completing assignments on time for 3 consecutive weeks (without requesting an extension). Once the third week is completed then one strike will be removed. There is no limit on how many strikes you can get removed. However, if you received a permanent strike then you cannot get that removed.

11. What does 'any restrictions' mean?

This is any genres/topics/ratings you are not comfortable with reading or do not want to read at all.

12. What does 'rating' mean?

This is the rating of your book e.g G, PG, PG-13, R . If your book contains explicit language/violence/controversial topics (suicide) and sexual content then it is a mature ® book. If it hints at violence/controversial topics (suicide) and sexual content then it is a PG-13.

13. Do I have to participate every week?

No, you don't. It is your choice how often you would like to participate. However, please do inform me before I post the new assignments (at least 24 hours in advance) if you are wanting to take a break from the club. Also, please do inform me if you are quitting the club as well.

14. Can I rejoin the club once I've quit it?

Of course! You can always come back any time you want, as longs as the reason for your leaving the club isn't because you were kicked out.

15. I can't find my partner's book, help?

All of the books are under my reading list 'Book Club' found on my profile page. If you still can't find the book, maybe the author has deleted it. If that's the case, PM me and I'll sort it out.

16. What if my partner has less than 3 chapters?

Then you read (and comment) on however many they have.

17. What if we've been paired up again?

If that's the case, then I'm sorry. But instead of reading the first three chapters again, you should read the next three chapters (if they have any) from where you last left off.

18. What if I am unable to complete the deadline?

You will receive a strike. However, if you contact me before the deadline (at least 24 hours in advance), we can arrange an extended deadline (of up to one week) for you to complete your assignment. However this means that you will not be allowed to receive a new assignment for the following week.

19. When is the deadline?

The deadline is every Monday at 7pm (GMT+1/ UK time). Failure to complete it by this time will result in a strike.

If you have any other questions that you feel should be on here or just a general question then please PM me! Also, so that I know you've read the FAQs please include your favourite sport/hobby somewhere in the form. Please continue on to fill in the form! :)
