"Be my summer in a winter day,

I can't see one thing wrong,
Between the both of us.

Be mine,
yeah.
Anytime.

But since you came along,
I'm thinking you are bringing out a different kind of me."

"Who's that one about?" Finnick teased, standing on her bedroom window.

Excitement bubbled within her as she squealed, immediately leaving her guitar by the bed and throwing her arms around him, "You're back!"

Finnick chuckled, hugging her back

As they parted, they both stared at one another, looking deeply into one another's eyes as they both blushed.

The air between them was charged with unspoken feelings as they locked eyes. The lingering silence was finally broken when Azalea looked playfully into Finnick's eyes with a casual, "Hey."

"Hey." Finnick smirked back, not breaking eye contact.

"So how was the birthday party?"

"Not better than the one I got here, that's for sure," Finnick grinned, making Azalea blush as she looked down momentarily before looking back at him again and smiling.

The closeness between them felt new and exciting, a sensation neither of them could quite believe as they enjoyed the warmth of the moment.

Azalea playfully whined, "Yesterday was so boring without you."

"I've only been gone for a day."

"Worst day ever."

Finnick teased, "Awe, Did you miss me that much?"

"Oh Shut up." Azalea protested, before adding, "but maybe a little."

Finnick laughed at her, as he gently put a loose strand of her hair behind her ear, his hand lingering by the side of her face. A sly grin playing on his face as he spoke, "I did miss doing one thing yesterday."

"And what was it?" Azalea inquired, a innocent and playful grin on her face.

"Doing this," Finnick said as he closed the gap between them by kissing her gently.

Azalea, caught off guard by the sudden kiss, couldn't help but smile into it.

As they shared a sweet moment, Finnick couldn't help but savor the taste of her lips. Azalea's heartbeat quickened, and when they pulled away, her cheeks flushed with a rosy hue.

Azalea, still slightly breathless, teased, "You have a way of making up for the boring days, Finnick Odair."

Before Finnick could reply, they were both stopped by the sound of the front door swinging open.
