IM LOOKING FOR A BOOK
the story had the best representation of depression that I've read, it was truly well written. There was a young girl named jay, she would feed her Apple core to the  blue jays during lunch behind the school. There was this guy with a couple brothers who truly loved him but he couldn't see that, I think he boxed? They end up going on a school trip and getting spending the night outside in the forest and get to know each other. He liked birds too? I would really like to find it again. Thanks.

I keep getting more flashes of memory 
She lives by herself in a bad neighbourhood and works at a pizza place. He has a very strict workaholic father and a mother who cares, they live on the rich side of town.
