She/her, demi/ace, technical editor with cerebral palsy

When it comes to fiction, I primarily write fantasy stories for both adults and children, often involving animals, baking, and tons of puns. I also dabble in other genres from time to time, and have posted hundreds of bite-sized poems that are the perfect read if you only have a minute to spare.

I am a huge fan of low fantasy stories, although I'm willing to give just about anything a read. Feel free to PM me if you want to do a read for read!

My short stories and poems have appeared in Daily Science Fiction, Bronzeville Bee, Cicada, Short Édition, and various other publications.

My stories:

Moose on the Loose (New chapter every Friday) - Young adult summer camp horror with an #ownvoices protagonist

Unhealthy Coping Mechanism (Complete) - Tragic adult horror/magical realism story featuring a bisexual lead and lots of stress baking

Quit Bugging Me (Complete) - Lighthearted lower middle grade fantasy with animals galore and a dash of LGBT, former Community Curator pick and Editors' Choice

Beastly Little Boy (Complete) - Upper middle grade wilderness survival fantasy, former featured story

Sirens and Sprinkles (Complete) - Goofy adult contemporary focusing on a prank war over doughnuts

Works in progress:

Reindeer James - Lower middle grade fantasy story full of festive fun, first draft complete at 25,000 words

A Taste of Home - Adult urban fantasy, currently writing first draft
