After Nightmare had left Dreamtale, now corrupted, you went into a deep depression and decided to end it, being lonely in the AU that was now a wasteland. Then to be reunited Centuries later...

What if nightmare was alive? And l don't mean the tar-covered king of negativity, l mean the small, fragile, heartbroken, passive form of nightmare. What if he was a ghost at the back of the Kings mind? What would you do if l said that 'nightmare kept the small, fragile skeleton safe and hidden, somewhere other than in his mind, his SOUL even?' Fate is cruel Life get rougher The will to live will run low Destiny is unpredictable Promises are made to be broken Bonds bind soulmates together Forgiving is harder than forgetting Dreams were meant to be shattered Hearts were meant to be broken Memories were meant to be forgotten After all Love doesn't have happy endings We don't live in a fairytale, were not some characters from a movie. Not all Kings are sweethearts/kind/loving most are cruel, violent,etc. Every promise can be broken Every decision has consequences Every heartbreak could just worsen Every memory could be forgotten Every action cannot be forgiven Every dream could be shattered What if these two negative beings are lovers? Do they truly love eachother? Or just pretending. What if it's a forced relationship? Of course the king will get his way... But will the fragile skeleton get his way, his want, his need? Fate can be cruel and destiny can be unpredictable, this story can have twists and turns but could always have different endings so remember... Choices have consequences

The positive twin always is praised from people while the sadder one is bullied and hated by everyone. This is a backstory of my AU that is called UG!Dreamtale or Uninvited Guest! Dreamtale. Most Nightmare and Dream, no matter which AU they come from, would always be destined to be enemies, fighting on different sides. In this AU though, things will be a bit different. Many branches of science are aimed at studying the essence of consciousness, the main of which is psychology.
