They really only had each other in such a cruel world, but they find their supporters along the way to finally let them live a peaceful life; where Yuu can teach Mika what it meant to be truly happy and live life to its fullest while Mika could teach Yuu what it meant to be safe and how love can destroy a person. After running into the crossfires of death and battling the scars left from their homes and the secrets they hold, they begin to learn that love means sharing the pain instead of burdening it. And after all the hope, despair, lust, love, tension, arguing, and sacrifices, they still wondered if they'd ever get their dreams to become a reality...

Ogres are feared by the world, and it never seemed to bother Yuichiro. He liked scaring humans, it gave him a purpose in life. Though he may not look like one in day, at night his skin turns green. It freaks everyone out, but he doesn't really know why...not that he cares...or so he thought. He went to go visit the village next to Lord Gurenquaad's (they just call him Guren for short) castle, and bumped into a boy named Mikaela. He stole his heart, a feeling he has never felt before... Mikaela doesn't know Yuichiro is an ogre...he just thinks he's a regular human like him. The ogre fears that Mikaela won't like him anymore if he finds out he's not human..what will he do? What's even worse is that Mikaela has to marry a princess from the other kingdom..but Yuichiro wants to be the princess who has to marry Mikaela...What's EVEN more worse is that the next day after Mikaela and Yuichiro met, Mikaela was kidnapped by a dragon! For for the first time, Yuichiro wishes that he was just like everyone else...that he wasn't a scary ogre at night. What will Mikaea do and think when he finds out who Yuichiro really is? Will Mikaela ever be saved from the evil dragon? Inspired by: My lord and savior, Shrek. ---- A common question asked (jk no one actually asked this): should I take this story seriously? My response: Yes. Shrek may be a meme, but the plot is pretty good.
