111 parts Complete Mature
Lyra has been waiting for her Weaver to find her for years, unable to leave the safety of her home and only connected to him through passionate dreams - remembering nothing about him apart from his wild, sensual song. When the lone Weaver Grigore finally sweeps into her life, she finds herself instantly drawn to him, instantly recognising him as the man she had dreamt of for years. However, Lyra quickly runs into problems. Not only does he fail to recognise her but he's nothing like she imagined; cold, stubborn and determined to keep himself away from her. Rejected but determined to keep him safe as her magic whispers of his death, she follows him through danger and blood as he stalks his own hunt, desperate to shake the hooks that keeps pulling him back to her. First Volume of the Dark Folktales. This is a horror, erotic romance, with monster-of-the-week vibes, such as Buffy, Supernatural, Witcher, Claymore, and Van Helsing. (I'm a massive fan of the monster hunting genre.) Written from Sep 2011 until April 2014. This was the very first adult romance I'd written and has a plethora of problems. Despite this, I won't do further editing as I'm putting my efforts into a full re-write. Author's note - Please be mindful of what you're saying when commenting. I'm happy with helpful criticism, spelling/grammar pointers, questions or simple chatter. However, a tirade of needless, unhelpful complaints and just outright rude commentary is not welcome. My stories are terrible first drafts, they're going to be riddled with issues, so just politely highlight if you feel there's a problem. I'll listen and likely take on board the criticism. And if you're not enjoying it, that's fine, just move on and thank you for giving it a shot. The cover is my own art; sketched 2017. The General's Daughter

22 parts Complete

Just seventeen, Keira is not eager to decide the rest of her life, but as usual, she will not have much choice. She has always known she would have to marry - and well, but as the deadline nears, she begins to feel more and more suffocated. It doesn't help that most of her prospects are tedious, arrogant, sometimes entirely revolting, and only interested in using her for some advantage with her father. The only man she can stomach the thought of accepting, also offers the most terrifying future - as royalty. Keira loves Alex, but not romantically, and she doesn't believe she ever will. Not that it keeps him from trying to convince her otherwise....But if it was possible, would love make the rest of it bearable? Especially considering her alternatives? Just as she begins to allow herself to believe in the possibility of a romantic future, someone sets out to destroy it all. When Keira is kidnapped, she realizes just how much she has taken for granted - Alex included. She must find a way to rescue herself and make it home to spoil her abductors' plans. Unfortunately she doesn't know how to get home or even how far it might be. She has no food, no supplies, and no idea how to survive on her own. And asking the wrong person for help could be disastrous. (Sequel to Keira's Fire & Daughter of the Rebellion)
