Special, but definitely alone, Nevah protects the Outcast's at her school. She's special, yes, but not because of her long, deep bloody ruby coloured hair that swung around her hips, or her pale pallor, or her bright Caribbean blue eyes. Nope, I'm talking about her unnaturally long incisor and canine teeth. But thankfully for her, her full pouty red lips hide them. But everyone knows about them anyway.
She was dubbed the 'Protector' of all Outcasts' at her school when Tom, a rival who so very hated her, beat up one of the very little amount of people who actually dared to even go near her. So she kicked his ass and sent him on his way, although, he promised to get back at her.
So what happens when she goes to her park in the rain and see's a tall but hunched over dark figure sitting on one of her swings? Of course she comforts them. But she didn't recognise them -him- at all. So with the promise of returning the next day, she made him leave.
And after a few days of running from him, she goes to the park, finally gathering up her guts. But he wasn't there. So she laid on the grass and waited, and waited. But he didn't show. Not until one of the guys from Tom's gang found her. And since she has no one to protect, who's going to protect her?
