My son and I offer this story as a gift, to all of us, in the hopes that we can come together as a society, having each other's backs, living in harmony with each other, with the goal of health, abundance, security and passion expressed for all beings, no exception. During my short stint pursuing an MBA, I realized that the business world's answer to sustainable business, was just more of the same: work harder to extract every penny from a sale, while putting in place greenwashing, in order to make it look good ... all the while, having to beef up the employee handbooks to include "Don't steal," put in place tighter firewalls in their data centers, and push Congress to enact tougher ethics laws. Really? Is that the answer? Has it worked yet? There's a saying in our society, that "insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, expecting a different result." I would argue that today's business model and, conversely then, how we support ourselves and our families, is insane. Does that mean too then that we're insane? It's a fair question, no? In this book, my son and I offer some ideas and even maybe some solutions to begin perhaps looking at ourselves, first, to find the answers within, that we put forth will lead us our of our insanity.
