His heart was as hard as rock, and as cold as ice.
Her heart was soft, yet shattered at the same time.
He was possessive, and protective.
She was shy, and kept to herself.
He had no empathy, no matter who it was.
She was loving, and willing to care- as long as someone was willing to her care for her back.

Lacey Sander's lived her entire life being beaten an abused mentally and physically by her her father, after her mother left and never returned. In result to being called names constantly by her father, she started to believe him. Selfharm was the only way she felt in control.

Xavier Black was ruthless. He didn't care what anyone thought of him, never did. He kept his job as an Alpha strict, being protective of his pack at all times. It was almost like he didn't have emotions.

When Lacey meets Xavier on the streets after running away from home, Xavier "claims" her as his. Will Xavier be able to mend her broken heart, or will Lacey never heal from the traumatic events she suffered?

Aw :( I was 8 months going onto 9 clean, until recently I cut.. it’s gonna get worse before it can even get the chance to be better; it’ll happen more than once. But just stay strong♥️

I’ve got the same problem but I don’t self-harm. I got eczema and it will make you itch crazy and sometimes I’ll split open my skin and go in the shower and all I can feel it the burning on the wounds even if I put ointments on my skin it doesn’t help.
I would love to see him be impaled threw the spine... giving him a even slower death than it going threw his ass.
It's my second time reading this book, and its brave of the author not to be scared to touch on serious issues, just like Broken Shreds I just read. Two different issues. But so admirable to see authors write abt real things, and not just simple stories that don't make you think.
