"Stay away from her," is all he says, and then mutters a slur under his breath that Mina's never heard before but she can very well decipher what it means. And maybe if she hadn't known Momo beforehand, the venom with which he speaks it would have scared her away, would have caused Mina the slightest bit of trepidation about the other girl. But instead, oddly, something curls its way between the notches of her ribs and she finds herself distinctly more fond of Momo. Something dangerous. Like curiosity.
