Golden Wings [On Hold]
Lyndon Cross is going insane.
Or, at least, that's the only conclusion he can draw from the hallucinations. Two figures, a male and female, following him wherever he goes. They're seemingly invisible to the public and only interested in him- an average, unassuming, and admittedly anti-social, teenager.
Even when an event occurs that tears the earth as he knew it from beneath him, Lyn's isn't completely convinced that he's not just crazy. After all- how could the entire world be clueless that there's a century old war going on beneath their noses? And how could they miss the giant, gray-skinned beasts which dragged him into it by trying to slaughter him?
The only ones who hold answers are his hallucinations, who make no effort to hide his choices in the matter.
Die by the hands of the monsters, or join their side and fight.
When reality itself is insane, one has to wonder if it isn't better to just accept the mental break.
