So, I took this off Wattpad a while ago because I wanted to do things with it, but I have recently decided to scrap it instead :) Soooo, I thought: "why not"! This story isn't the best; it's inconsistent at times, and the plot is iffy. But this is the furthest I've ever gotten in a book, so I'm proud of it. Also - Dawson's name was changed to Asher, and I'm pretty sure I fixed everything, but if you see a random "Dawson" in there, that's why. Okay, so here's the old description. The plot's changed a bit since then but I'm really bad at summaries so I'm leaving it as this lol. A gene in some people began mutating, and humans started to be born with wings. Those that did not are jealous, fearful of these 'Winged Ones'. They begin taking some away at birth, experimenting and doing inhumane tests on them. Peregrine has been living in captivity all his life and was not given anything more than a patient number until his captors experimented with the DNA of his namesake. He barely escapes the clutches of his captors, and ends up on the doorstep of two abandoned twins. As they care for him and heal his scars, they learn about the threat against the Winged Ones and decide they must stop it before it's too late. Wow, okay, after rereading this summary, I realized just ~how much~ the plot has changed. Whoops!
