Austerpaw has always been a bit different than the other IceClan apprentices. Well, for one thing, she has a very strong connection with StarClan. And two, she enjoys herbs and healing her Injured clanmates more than claw-to-claw combat fighting. And due to her many differences from the rest of the apprentices, Austerpaw has developed a personality of discipline and stubbornness.

Stormpaw is ready to become a warrior, and he couldn't be more thrilled. Ever since he was a kit, he's wanted nothing more than to protect his clan. Everything seems to be okay among the four clans. However, when the RiverClan leader dies, a cat with a burning desire for vengeance takes over and plunges everything into complete chaos. The cats from all the clans become hostile and angry, and they are determined to protect their clanmates. Every cat is afraid, and no one knows what to do when the RiverClan leader makes an insane proposal to the other clans. RiverClan is much stronger than Stormbreeze thought they were, and the end of the four clans may be drawing near.

A great darkness is spreading. Now, BloodClan is preparing for a battle with the clans. A war. Revenge. Once loyal Clan warriors have joined them for power which the BloodClan leader, Bloodscar, promised. Starclan can no longer help as Bloodclan is getting more and more powerful each day, recruiting new cats and soon, Starclan will no longer be able to aid the Clans as the war is inevitable. They can only give the clans one last prophecy before the Clans must help themselves and prepare for battle. Spiritpaw was once a kittypet, now she's got a new life in the forest. A little strange at first and annoying how a few cats said how she won't be a good warrior due to her being a kittypet, but Ashstar mentions that clan born or not, Spiritpaw will become a great warrior. After awhile things seem as though they're going good until... ~ "Separated as a kit, one will save the clan and one will destroy it." ~

Fawnleap is a young warrior in MapleClan, and like any warrior she wants to be the best she can be. But in order to be the best you need to know yourself, and Fawnleap soon starts to realize that she doesn't know as much about herself as she thought. Fawnleap discovers that being a warrior is not about where your roots were planted, it's about how those roots grow. Although Fawnleap has always known where her loyalties lie, unlikely friendships, uncovering secrets, and understanding the past all challenge her true desires, and make her really think about how she wants to live her life, and where she wants to live it.
