After Newt's suicide attempt, he'd been trying to find a new job. He seemed to like gardening, which you were in charge of. Newt, THE Newt, second-in-command, would be learning from you? You became thankful when he started sleeping on the job, but watching him made you question your perspective. How could someone be at peace when their whole world was shattered?

**COMPLETED** CHARACTERS OWNED BY JAMES DASHNER - though I have some original characters in the story that I made so that the plot could work! (Hope ya like em) Thomas and the crew finally make it to the real Safe Haven - their paradise, free from the Flare dangers. But dragging Newt there had been a hassle, yet completely worth it. The blonde is stuck in a coma, and Thomas wants nothing more than for him to wake up. He spends nearly all his time there, praying that his Newt would just shucking wake up already. What happens when Thomas needs to actually start helping out? How much had Newt's coma ruined the boy, and how much had Thomas missed? When will Thomas figure out his feelings for the boy, his world?

Thomas is the new recruit at Boot Camp training teenage boys in the art of survival to prepare them to fight for their country. It's not the multiple mile runs at dawn or the unexpected demands to do more push ups that pushes Thomas toward his breaking point; it's the friendships he makes and the struggles that come with his new everyday life. Minho is slowly going mad but is determined to stay strong as the gladers try to live a normal life out in the scorch. Newt loves a boy who's surely dying but still can't seem to admit his love... Minho knows he needs to get away from his friends before he endangers them, but can't seem to bring himself to leave... Thomas is conflicted between love and logic, Newt and Minho, and above all, he knows he needs to take Wicked down... In the treacherous land of the Scorch, is there even any space for love and trust anymore?
