This is a Percabeth Selection but instead of Annabeth being the America Singer of the Selection, always in first place. She was the Kriss Ambers she was in love with Percy but, she was always 2nd place in his heart. But was she really in love with Percy or what just what she was pressured to feel. This story involves Annabeth figuring out her sexuality after being pressured to feel heterosexual feelings when she in fact is a comphet lesbian.

So this is a memoir piece I entered into a national competition called Arts and Writing Scholastic Awards and I won a silverkey for it (basically second place). I was super excited that my writing actually won an award. For my memoir, I chose to tell the story of the obstacles I faced while growing up and how I dealt with it. I stood outside the lines of perfection, and for a long time I tried to fight it. I tried to fit in, but I was never able to break the barrier between who I was and who I wanted to be. Because who I was, was already perfect and it wasn't society's definition of perfection, it was my own.
