The fate of the Commune of Aeros rests on the performance of their secondary school Video-Game Club Team. Their best hope might be a young man named Dante whose playstyle is considered unconventional at best.

All things must end, this is inevitable. It is not whether you will end my friend, it's how much noise you make when you do and how many of them you can drag down with you when you go. What matters most is how much bang and flash you can create in the most spectacular fashion possible so that when you do finally meet your end, the world will be talking about you long after your dust has returned to the earth. Have fun with your life my friend and make waves while your at it. Start fights, drink some beer and by God if you get the chance to kiss the girl do it. Who gives a mole's arse hole what anyone thinks about it when you do. Life is but a fleeting moment, but your youth is ever more so. Enjoy it while you can and give the old hens in the market something to gossip about. Don't waste it on troublesome thoughts and regret like some old geezer to gnarled up to swing a forge hammer. That's what I say knee-high. You and your pointy ears are alright by me.

Benjamin Walker is a writer that has finished the final book of his well known series. Looking to rest and to find new inspiration he's been drawn to Japan. Why Japan you ask. Could it be because of the lands vast history and culture or something else. If you guessed something else you would be correct. Ben is a unrepentant geek. He loves syfi, fantasy, and everything in between, books, movies, and especially video games. New Life On-line is whats drawn him to Japan, a game like no other. He has given me the okay to put it up. The story starts not long after the games launch. I look for the MC to run into at least a few of NLOs well known characters. I do not own or claim any rights to these characters or the setting. Scythus is just kind enough to let me give my own little spin on his creation. A/N I started reading the first book of New Life On-line about four months after my mother past away. It was as I read chapter after chapter that the urge to write started up again. It took me a year to start writing any thing but this story I thank those that have stuck it out with me. Now let's begin shall we.

At the moment of enlightenment, the boy named Hei Long was struck by a sudden cold, hard truth--his father, family, and friends would no longer rise from their graves, which he had erected himself. But then an old hunchback with a black cane on his hand approached him, and he stared down with his blood-red eyes at the man who was kneeling in the vast prairie. "How much is your soul, boy?" He asked. At that moment, hope was brought forth. The man's eyes lit up, he said, "Devil?" It was then that the wheel of fate took a new turn--altering everything in order to make a new ending!

In a universe where gods are common place and often roam amongst man, where it is common to see people fling fire from their hands and brawls are held in arenas for the enjoyment of all. Where Human's are as common as Beast-folk, Mutants, and even Goblinoids. Every child has their own unique ability awakened at birth and with such their status screen as well. In such a universe everyone has an ability whether useless or useful that is unique to them no two ability's are the same nor will ever be. In a small unremarkable territory of such a intriguing universe, home of the Dukedom of Anadris a small baby boy was just brought into the world unbeknownst to everyone the fate of the universe will be for ever changed in a short period of time, for better or worse it is unknown. (Warning: I'll be honest I don't have an actual end goal/planned out come for an ending I plan on keeping the story until I decide its long enough or my writers block comes back(If the later I'll pick it back up). So therefore if you want something with an end goal or will be completed within 100+ chapters I'd advise another story. For now there is no planned romance that may or may not change in the future. I'm unsure whether I'll write some smut into the story but if I do I'll make those chapters skip-able and non-essential to the plot(If something happens during the scene that's important it will be covered in the next chapter). For now ciao)

You'll see a villain mc (that will be developed so don't complain if at the beginning the MC looks somewhat normal), lots of cool, scary and comical moments, and a new fantastic universe ! Also, in this story, you will not be "guided". Most of the things happening, you will have to figure them out yourselves and will only be explained later in the story. I made it this way so it would feel more immersive, plus I like it when the reader has to think and guess what means what... After all, what's more thrilling for a seasoned gamer than a new challenge? However, Eliza quickly discovers that this game is unlike anything she's ever experienced. It's not just a game- but something more that shatters the line between reality and virtuality. And as she dives head first into it, she realizes that the stakes are far higher than a simple high score... __ __ __ Now for some precisions, I am very new to this (writing) so if you have anything to say regarding how I write or if something doesn't makes sense and things like that, well instead of a hate comment I'll appreciate it if your critics are good willed and meant for me to improve myself. Which I will if you do what I asked for of course ;-). There won't be a lot of quick updates since I am doing this on my free time but it still won't be 'too' slow. Well that I hope.
