Jean and Daisy are followed to the beach party while Daisy is wearing her favorite bikini with Daisy flowers on it. Daisy and Jean see the football boys and immediately go over there. The first thing Jean does when they see James is talk to him but he doesn't look at her at all he looks at Daisy and Daisy sees that he is wearing daisy flowered swimming trunks!. Daisy and James look into each other's eyes in love when Jean sees them she is immediately offended and walks away. When James and Daisy are alone he asks her if they should go into the water she says yes and James takes Daisy's hand. Out in the water James pushes Daisy under the water and afterwards he lifts her up and says what was in one of the letters Daisy had received "you are the ray of sunshine that brightens up my life" "it was you who wrote the letters" Daisy said "it was me" James teased and then they kissed. Daisy twirled her legs around James and they kissed for a long time before she whispered in his ear "I love you James Harris"

this is just a stonathan one-shot post-season 5 epilogue when Steve leaves Hawkins for a better job opportunity in New York and bumps into Jonathan even though they meet regularly once a month with Robin and Nancy things start to change when they realize they both work at the same place a school Steve being one of the coaches there and Jonathan being the photographer taking it as a side gig with uni and film making after that they decide to rent an apartment togather as it's cheaper and near the school 5 months into living togather and following a domestic like schedule (Jonathan cannonly cooks) they start developing more than just friendly feelings and maybe something more sparks from their shared trauma after all Jonathan did kind of save Steve
