This is a reincarnation AU with a fem!reader. There's some angst in it but it's not going to get as heavy as it is in the first chapter again. Y/n has just moved into their new apartment and began their job at a noodle shop directly across from Pigsies. After becoming acquainted with the local Monkie Kid you're introduced the famous Monkey King who looks at you as though he's seen a ghost. This was commissioned by my friend who has full permission to yell at me if I try to procrastinate so there's a high chance that'll probably finish this. ~ Sun & Macaque ~ What was it like being trapped in the mountain? Unable to move, being forced to eat molten metal, his friend abandoning him (right?), and nothing left except him and his thoughts. Why the enmity between Wukong and Macaque? Would they make up? (Hint: yes.) Just a short story kinda explaining the scene shown in Monkie Kid, or my headcanon of why they argued. Kinda Shadowpeach but also kinda platonic. My goal is to appeal to both audiences. I don't own Lego Monkie Kid or its characters. Plot based on LMK and Journey to the West.

With evil plaguing the lands with its dark energy, Y/n was born as the 7th awakened one to stop it. During his stay he reunites and bonds with his children and learns about each of their own special abilities. All the while, trying to blend into a Shen City. A city populated by deities, spirits, demons and the supernatural. Join Wukong and his family as they band together to fight off an evil black dragon that plans to take over the city and possibly the whole world with a demonic army.

The Monkey King Sun Wukong has awakened from his slumber with the plan of eradicating the gods and humans. He decided to attack both the Heavens and the Earths with an army of demonic beings from the underworld called Breakers. Four years after his initial attack on Humanity and the Heavens, the Monkey King, now laying low as the CEO of the multibillionaire company from China, the Guānhóu Conglomerate, decides to cause some problems for the humans once again, paying a visit to the White House where all the world leaders were gathered and asking them to let him start a tournament in order to find and fight the strongest human being. Said tournament being known as... The Breakers of Chaos.

His disciples are good men, under their very rough exteriors. They have a bodhisattva ensuring their success. So it's fine. It's fine. ... It very abruptly was not fine.
