And so, MK set off to try just that. It was a short conversation, but one that would change how he would see himself from then on. Who would've guessed being a monkey was so fun?

Plot: Mk, Mei, and Redson were all born in the same time period in this AU. So ancient China basically. Wukong raised Mk, Macaque raised Mei, and Nezha raised Redson. Wukong is sort of an obsessive yandere in this. His whole goal is to find wherever Macaque ran off to all these years. Macaque basically adopted Mei, even though he doesn't quite know how to be a parent. Nezha raised Redson, attempting to tame his firey anger and stray him from the path of villainy. On the verge of death, Sun Wukong is worried for his ex-best friend.
