He never thought it to be possible to get rid of Bran. But when the Foundation sends Simon Smith/Detective Void a Mail saying that they extracted the Timer from Leila and now offer him, and her, to return to normal life with the only condition being that he let's them extract Bran from him he agrees. Just when he's about to get everything done - to finally end all of this - he recieves a phone call and, well, from there things go wild. And who's that weird kid in all-white who seems to know more than anyone else? She says she's someone who, quote, just want's to help, end quote, - as if he'd ever believe something like that given that it was Bran who told him the exact. Same.
