"Shadows of Resilience" is a riveting tale that weaves through the intricate tapestry of friendship, corruption, and the indomitable spirit of redemption. In the bustling city of Lagos, Reema, Ayobami, and Oloks, once inseparable friends and graduates of White and Blue International School, find themselves reunited by a mysterious letter. Little do they know that this reunion will unravel a web of deceit that has haunted their alma mater. As the trio embarks on a journey to confront their past, the story takes unexpected turns, delving into the dark corridors of corruption, examination malpractice, and the quest for power. Guided by the wise Mr. Eniola, a principled school teacher, the friends navigate the labyrinth of betrayal, unveiling buried secrets and confronting former allies turned adversaries. From the serene streets of Lekki to the bustling markets of Ketu, the narrative unfolds with suspense, humor, and action, keeping readers on the edge of their seats. The plot thickens as the friends face unexpected betrayals, emerging adversaries, and the challenges of exposing corruption deeply entrenched in their beloved school. The story reaches a crescendo as Reema, Ayobami, and Oloks journey to Abuja, the seat of power, where political intrigue and dangerous liaisons threaten to consume them. Amidst the chaos, the trio discovers the true meaning of redemption and forgiveness, realizing that the path to justice is a complex and unforgiving one. "Shadows of Resilience" is not just a story of uncovering the shadows of the past; it's a testament to the resilience of friendship, the transformative power of truth, and the legacy that can emerge from the most challenging struggles. In a final showdown at White and Blue International School, the friends confront their nemesis, leaving an indelible mark on the school and embracing a new dawn as they stand united, ready to face whatever challenges the future holds.

For satyr Thepa Fox, the world of Sainta has been at war for as long as she can remember. Savage beasts ravage the land, and the once-strong alliance of the five nations is crumbling under the growing horde's onslaught. As resources dwindle and conscription claims every able body, Thepa is no exception. But Thepa refuses to fade into the ranks. Leaving the only family she has ever known, she becomes the first-ever female Captain of the Goldale Guard, though the path ahead is far from easy. Self-doubt gnaws at her resolve, her sister Rory harbors a dangerous secret that threatens to unravel their bond, a new and sinister threat emerges from the shadows, and the weight of her birthright as Beachwick's Matriarch pulls her toward an inescapable destiny. Torn between duty and family, Thepa must navigate treacherous battles, unravel the mysteries of Rory's newfound power, and confront her own heritage to forge a future for Sainta-or risk losing everything she holds dear. My intention is to post this on Royal Road as well. I give myself permission under my Royal Road user name: jpsuchecki

Everyone thought it. Everyone know it. But no one ever said to my face. I was the side kick. Brianna has always been on top, ever since the sixth grade, ever since we hung out, ever since Sara left. She was my best friend, but people change I know that now and I'll just have to except it. I'm done. No more stupid fights, no more back-biting, no more Brianna. I've changed too but in a good way, I think.

We fall in love. They love us back. Wait a minute... Was it really love? Or travesty of love? So, to all those who believed that their beloved would keep their "promises" "forever" but at the hour end, they were left isolated near the beautiful yet never-ending horizon, here are some metaphorical as well as some non-metaphorical poems which would prove that the breath still flows... The blood still runs within the veins to serve it's 'purpose'... The heart still has faith and hope deep down within... after all, someone somewhere has been destined to love you and be with you forever and ever...!!! But were we too dumb to have chosen the wrong person? Or the person destined to love us forever are not destined to get 'our love'? Funny. Yet deep. So just give it a read.
