So if you read Hatchet then you know how the story ends, right? Well for an assignment I had to make an alternate ending for Hatchet. I didn't know what I was going to write but the story just kind of went on by itself. I really liked my made up ending and thought it deserved to be posted here. This is my alternate ending for Hatchet, I hope you like it!

You should know from the beginning that I'm bad with summaries. So here I go. Minerva Rios is a literature nerd, a scientific genius, a mathematical brainiac, a history expert, and a strategic mind. She lives with her abusive unsister, Nicky, and undad and an unmother who fails to see the abuse. Her life is a never ending hurricane and sometimes she feels like giving up, but she has a ray of sunshine in the middle of the strom, Thomas, her four year old brother, who is the only reason she sticks around. When she is giving an opportunity the can change her life, things seem like they are finally looking up. But there're not, they only get worse and Minerva finally gets pushed over the edge.
