Chleo's POV
"Penny for your thoughts" I asked when I found him on the patio staring at the ocean. Turning around and giving me his drop dead gorgeous smile that does things to me. Scratch that he shouldn't smile more I'd end up saying yes to everything he say. Focus!. Im happy to see him smile though. Geez I must sound like a high school girl that's talking to her first crush.
" I'll give it to you for free. I was just thinking how I haven't been out here in the sun for a while" he said. "I suppose you for very busy at work" I said. "Yeah I should do this more I don't want to end up being a grumpy grandpa" he said laughing.
Aaaaawh. STOP. He is your boss. "You're still a long way from being a grandpa maybe you could do with a haircut and a shave" I said playfully reaching for his head and lightly pulling a few strands. "You don't wanna get fired do you" he said playfully and jumped up.
"Oh come on I'll just trim it a little. Come here!" I called out chasing him around the chairs. "Never!" He laughed. I finally caught up with him but before I knew it he picked me up and threw me over his shoulders. "Aaaaaah Kaaaaai! Put me down" I screamed with laughter. Which just made him laugh more I've never seen him this happy before it's like Im seeing a whole different person. I guess pain changes people.
"Never! Your punishment for wanting to cut my hair is a fun day out" he said inbetween laughter. "You call that punishment" I asked hanging upside down. "Are you complaining missy?" He asked. "Nope not at all" I said and he grab his stuff and walked out the door. "Kai put me down the people are looking at us" I said seeing two maids giggling at sight infront of them.
"Meh I don't care" he said as he makes his way to the elivator. "Kaaaai!" I half screamed. "Ok ok I'll put you down" he said once we entered the elivator. "You!" I punched him playfully in the arm. "Ouch! That hurt." He said giving me a playful pout. Once outside the driver was waiting on us. "Where we going" I asked. No answer. "Kai where are we going I know you heard me" I said and still no answer. He was just making goofy faces. Making a fake call. "Hello Mr Russo? Please come get your son I think he's broken" I joked making us both laugh.

"We're here!" He said after 20 minutes. "Finally!" I said. "Oooh the sarcasm" he said making me laugh. "Come on missy get prepared for the best day ever" he said. I can't help but feel excited. "Yeeaay" I let out a squeal. He led me to a go cart racing place. "Oooh prepare to get your butt kicked!" I said pointing at hm.
"Is that a dare missy" he asked. "Its a promise Mr Russo" I said giving him a serious face. I felt like a kid again when we raced around the track I think he let me win. "Oh my word I don't know when last I did that" I said when we got out.
"That's only the beginning Im going to teach you how to skate" he said he must have seen the look of terror on my face. "What if I fall" I asked him. "I'd catch you every time" he said. The seriousness in his voice made the butterflies in my stomach go crazy. "Come on missy" he said taking my hand in that moment everything just felt perfect.
"Kai I really don't know bout skateboarding" I said very nervous. "Ok ok then roller skating I'll hold your hand I promise." He said. "Ok" I said. We ride in comfortable silence as I watched the scenery go by.
