Once she sat down I kept my eyes on her, she wanted me here so she could speak.
"I just wanted to talk to you about Brandi," she said and I immediately shook my head scooting my chair back incase I needed to get up, "Are you seriously about to leave?" "It aint nun' to talk about no more."
"Just listen, Im serious its something important."
I shook my head and she kept her eyes on me waiting on me to calm back down, I finally did looking back to her. "I know she seems like she's for you and you probably really like her but I know some things you dont," "What the fuck you know bout a girl you ain been inna same room wit for 10 minutes." "I have talked to her Kentrell, in the hotel and she was a whole different person around me. She's putting on a act for you and you cant even tell, she doesn't care about you she just cares about that money you have."
I thought about it, none of it made sense. If she did she did a great job acting, "Ian finna sit up in yo face for you to talk down on ha." Thats when she got frustrated, I could see the jealousy and anger in her face that she tried to hide, I got up going toward the door and thats when she stood up. "Are you that blind!?" "Who you talkin to?" I quickly retaliated and she got up and came toward me trying to hold onto me, "Im just trying to look our for you, because I care but you dont see that. She hasn't been with you at your lowest I have, Kentrell I rode for you how she never could the moment you put her through something she'll le—"
"Get offa me you aint been wit me at no fuckin lowest." I said pushing her back.
She tried once again this time leaning in for a kiss and I pushed her off, this time she nearly fell into the table but I didn't care. I turned to continue unlocking the door and thats when I heard her shuffling through the room and turned to see her come toward me with her pregnancy test in hand, "Look, if you keep trying to leave I wont hesitate to post this." "I already told you aint no blackmailin me," she held it out infront of me, "Thats fine, then leave," I looked to the test getting frustrated and she could already tell what would happen if she continued pissing me off, "What's gone happen if I leave?"
She looked to me for a moment and I looked up letting her know I wasn't on her bullshit. She looked nervous and in the moment and circumstances thats how I wanted her, "You'll find out once you do" This time I walked up on her taking the test and threw it acrossed the room, "What's gone happen?" I repeated and she backed up, "If you touch me!" She raised her voice and I stood there letting her grab her phone and she started to record, "If you touch me Ill expose this too, just leave Kentrell."
"So you gone fuck up my reputation na' too?"
She stayed quiet but I wanted an answer, "Huh?"
"Just remember that shit Kay," I said when a snoozed alarm went off at 8:45 and I realized I was late shaking my head exiting her room and leaving the hotel, I called up Ben and waited on the car to pull up.
After a couple minutes it did and I got in the back seat still irritated, "Damn she musta pissed you off," Kd said and I poked my lip out, "What happened?" Three asked. "She was tryna blackmail me like Im scared ah her, Ion know what the fuck she gone do but I got my ass up out thea," "Why you aint just beat her ass?" Joe asked and Three shook his head, he wasnt with all that. "Cause that bitch pulled ha phone out on me and started recordin' Ian got time to get exposed twice so I just said fuck it an' left." They all shook their heads and I felt the same exact way.
"I told yo ass to leave that snake pussy alone dude," Kd said and I mugged him. "Nah he like that ride or die shit," Joe said and he shol was right. "Well it aint leadin' him in the right direction look what this bitch just posted," I groaned, I didn't even wanna see it but I knew I had to. Three showed me his phone, it was obviously from a fake page of his that he watched her story on. She had popped out with a positive pregnancy test in a boomerang looking happy as hell as if she wasn't just tryna turn me against Brandi and expose my ass, "I just wanna go back and beat the fuck outta her." I said shaking my head looking away from the phone.
"So na' what?" Ben asked, "Now I gotta go talk to Brandi, he nodded and we continued on our way to the house, putting the code in and I thought up on what to say while we waited on the gate to open driving in and parked. "You want us to come witchu?" I heard Three say and shook my head, "He a grown ass man," Joe said and the two began arguing. I just turned around toward the house and tried to get the irritation and anger out my system before I even opened the door, it was hard not to lash out on anybody when I got mad and Brandi was definitely the last person Id want to let it out on.
I unlocked and opened the door when I felt I was close to ready and looked around for her, "Brandi?" I asked walking into the living room, I looked around to see a plate of a home cooked meal and a glass on the dining room table untouched. It was cold by now, I made my way upstairs and stood in the hallway looking around at the different rooms for a moment. I looked to the main bedroom and pushed the door open to see a startled Brandi, she quickly dropped a backpack and I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Whatchu doin?"
I scrolled through my tags and finally pressed the picture of a familiar face that continued to pop up, she reminded me of someone I couldn't put my finger on. She had a pregnancy test in her hand and I shook my head seeing they edited Kentrell onto the picture and hoped he didn't do what I thought he did, I read the caption and my stomach twisted tighter into a knot the more I read. I pressed the comments and most people were bashing him, some even bashed her and what hurt me the most was how people called me stupid. They said I was next, or simply some place holder. Ontop of him lying to me about who 'Kaylyn' was she was now pregnant, and now I looked dumb infront of the world.
I realized the same way Id bashed the girls who'd liked and got with him before I even met him Id turned into one of them, all I did was stay on his side just for me to turn out the same dumb girlfriend he had every month. It hurt to know I was that gullible, I thought we were doing good.
I shook my head setting my phone down and got up to grab my clothes Id taken out my suitcase, I couldn't cry. No tears had came out despite how hot my chest felt, I couldn't deny that I wanted to scream though, I felt played and irritated. It was just another reason love wasn't for me, I had to just pick myself up and move on, I could hear the front door open and thats when I panicked. If I left Id have to leave through a back door or through the night or something, I thought to just continue packing and as fast as I could. "Brandi?" I heard Kentrell call for my downstairs and I simply ignored it continuing to grab the rest of my clothes.
I went to the bathroom grabbing my essentials, anything else I missed he could keep. I grabbed it all throwing it into my backpack and thats when I heard him coming upstairs, he got closer to the room and my anxiety grew. I made sure to walk lightly on my feet hoping he wouldn't hear me and thats when the bedroom door opened, I quickly dropped my backpack but it was too late to play it off so I just stood there, "Whatchu doin?" He said and he looked upset, I continued to stand there looking dumb for a moment. "Uhm— I was.."
He tilted his head and I stayed quiet, "You was what?"
I took a deep breath to brace myself, I couldn't just let him run over me nor guilt trip me. "Kentrell you lied to me," I said and he stayed where he was continuing to look at me, "What I lie about?"
"Im not about to play a mind game you said that Kaylyn girl was your sister, apparently you guys forgot that now look at her." He nodded and I was suprised to see he was understanding of my anger, "I know I fucked up but—" "There's no but you got that girl pregnant...Whered you go Kentrell?"
"Whatchu mean I went to the studio?"
"You went to the studio that long?" He nodded and I simply shook my head continuing to pack up, "Whatchu grabbin yo shit fah you not leavin me,"
"So what am I doing?" I simply said pulling the backpack on and he came toward me trying to take it off, "Kentrell stop Im not gonna sit here for you t—"
He took it off that simple and I held onto it to keep him from taking it, "Give me my shit bruh Im leaving." "Nah we gone talk let that shit go," he said yanking it from me and I fell down onto the bed becoming more irritated.
"Now you just— Kentrell please just get out my way."
"Ima after you listen to me," He said and I sat there looking up to him in annoyance, "I know I fucked up I'm sorry, but look Ian gone lie to you no mo, when I first met you Ian really give a fuck yeah I lied." It hurt me even if he wasn't finished, he tried to sit down next to me and I scooted away, I could tell it got to him, "Why you movin' from me?" He said and I shook my head, "Kentrell I dont think this is gonna work." He breathed out, "So you not gone listen?"
I gave him a chance to talk keeping my distance, "Ian give a fuck, I know I lied." He took a moment and finally continued, "I fucked her one time in that hotel but once I got rid of her I took you serious, I told her if she get an abort—"
"Do you have any idea how dumb I look right now?" He just looked to me, "They think Im just another girlfriend...Someone called me a baby sitter, I cant deal with it." "So you really finna leave me?"
"I think I'm gonna go back home, Ill text you." I said getting up and grabbed my backpack once again, this time he let me put in on. Id never seen him this upset, he looked like he could have cried on the spot and it bothered me but I didn't let it stop me, I called an uber to make my way home and once I got there I knocked on the apartment door realizing I didn't have my key. Amara opened it half asleep and her face lit up when she saw me with a hug and Taya walked up behind her with a smile that soon went away, "Whats wrong girl, Did something happen?" She asked and Amara leaned back frowning when she saw my face. I slid out of my shoes and they led me to the couch where I sat my backpack down.
"He got another girl pregnant..."
They both were in shock, "When was this?" Taya asked and I looked down to my socks, "He had sex with her around the time we were on tour, he said he wasn't taking me serious at the time. I get that he didn't any loyalty to me but he lied, he said they were close friends and she was like a sister to him. Ontop of that Im pretty sure he saw her, I look so dumb right now." They shook their heads and Amara spoke, "You don't look dumb, there was no way for you to know Brandi it's okay," I looked to her giving a side smile, "Thankyou."
