"where are we going?" you asked, as jungkook links his arms with yours.
"i'm taking you to a café." he responded. "it's my favourite café." he added, as you smiled.
the two of you are walking on the sidewalk outside, just as many pedestrians passed by. you divert your eyes to jungkook, admiring him as the calm breeze blew through his hair.
you couldn't help but stare, in which he noticed. he looks at you raising a brow, "what is it?" he asked, as concern appears on his face, assuming something is wrong.
"you're cute." you compliment.
he scoffed, holding his chest but felt thankful that nothing was wrong.
"yeah, i'm prettier than you." he responded, as you lightly hit his chest. "ugh, why're you like this." you mumbled, jokingly rolling your eyes.
"we're here," jungkook exclaims, as the two of you stood in front of the café doors.
jungkook held the door opened, as you entered. the both of you took a seat next to the large windows that exposed the beautiful scenery of the sky, many other shops, and even people who were passing by.
jungkook picks up the small menu, which shows a various amount of different beverages, brewed tea, coffee, and snacks to much on.
as he was occupied with the cutely designed menu, your eyes were fixated on him.
you smiled watching as his eyes innocently trailed through the menu options, picking out a drink that seemed the most tasty out of the others.
meanwhile, you felt a feeling invade you. a feeling almost indescribable.
you simply felt happy that you were back together.
+ 𝐅𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 .
a week has passed since your last encounter with jungkook in the dormitory.
because of that, you decided to delay your move of dormitories. taehyung let you stay in his dormitory for a while again, since you felt hesitant to leave.
1:47am.
you were tossing and turning in taehyung's bed, as him and hoseok were fast asleep. no matter how long, or hard you tried to, you couldn't fall asleep. you only ended up staring at the ceiling, for hours.
you sighed, turning on your side, which faced the wall. flashbacks with jungkook filled your mind, which made it harder to sleep.
you were wide awake.
you recalled telling jungkook to give you some time to think about wanting to go back to him or not.
however, throughout the entire time spent since that day, you haven't made a decision yet. you still had yet to give jungkook an answer.
you understood how he was in the wrong for some parts of the story, but he wasn't entirely.
you are just hurt, assuming that he purposely had been cheating on you with yerin. you remembered how he always told you to focus on the future, and not to focus on the past.
you sat up from bed, realizing his words.
"focus on the future, not the past." you rehearsed.
you remember his exact words from months ago, and realized that what he said was right. and you had to do what he said to, these types of situations.
and that made you realize one thing. and if was that, you loved jungkook.
you loved the boy dearly, with all your heart. and if you genuinely loved him then you wouldn't easily leave him through a misunderstanding. was it you who was being naive the entire time?
you didn't know what to think, but all you thought about was that you needed to find him.
you needed to tell jungkook how you genuinely felt.
who knew laying in bed caught up in your thoughts
would drastically lead to you secretly sneaking out of taehyungs dormitory, running toward your own.
you needed to find him, before it was too late. your mind focused on him and him only. meanwhile the rest of your mind was blank.
you fasted your steps as you ran down the long and extended hallway, watching the numbers on the doors slowly go up.
399, 400, 401,
and finally, dormitory 402.
you panted, as you finally made it to the door. and without wasting another second, you knocked against the door, have to wait for a few moments.
no answer.
you knock again, the knocks becoming more harsh and louder.
you felt yourself growing more impatient as each second passed.
from the other side of the dormitory door, you hear a few footsteps approaching which cause your heart to beat awfully quick. you felt nervousness build up inside inside of you, but you pushed those feelings away as the door slowly swings opened.
with the door swinging opened, it revealed a tired jungkook.
eyes slightly squinted, and messy hair, jungkook scratches the nape of his neck as he tries processing what is going on. he had just woken up.
he looked confused, but soon after realizing it was you, his gaze softened.
"y/n," he spoke with a raspy voice. "what are you doing—"
you immediately push the door opened, and wrap your arms over his shoulders pulling him into a kiss which cut him off mid sentence. for a moment, he didn't kiss you back but after processing what was going on, he responded to the kiss.
you felt the heavy weight on your shoulders soon fade away, feeling his soft lips against yours.
jungkook snaked both arms around your tiny waist, closing the left over space between the both of you.
you felt as jungkook backs away from the door, as you stepped forward, entering the dormitory more than before — leaving the door to swing shut on its own.
you pulled away from him, "i love you." you spoke, as he looked taken aback for a moment, panting as you were out of breath as well.
"tell me that i'm not dreaming," he responds, eyes wide at your statement. you shook your head, "you aren't." you assured, as the corner of his lips tug up into the adorable smile that you've missed dearly.
"then, i love you too."
with those last words, you felt your heart flutter as jungkook presses his lips against yours once again.
+ 𝐄𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐅 𝐅𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐇𝐁𝐀𝐂𝐊 .
"hi, welcome!" a bubbly waitress exclaimed, after you and jungkook seated yourselves down at a table next to the wide window that exposed the outdoors.
you and jungkook adverted your eyes towards the waitress who held a pen and small notepad in her hands. "how may i help you?" she asked.
you and jungkook ordered drinks, and shortly after the drinks have arrived. comfortable in your seats, the two of you fixed a conversation about random topics that had suddenly came up, as the two of you shared laughs and smiles.
after spending nearly twenty minutes, the both of you had just finished drinking your coffee, and are now continuing the conversations with each other.
"alright, i'll be back," he said, as he stands up from his seat.
"i'm gonna pay." he informs you, as you nodded in response. you remained seated in your seat, simply scrolling through your phone as your boyfriend approached the from counter, standing in the line.
"wow, he really is handsome," you heard a womans voice whisper, from behind you.
you turned around, glancing at the two high school students but they didn't seem to notice as they were busy admiring your boyfriend. "i wonder how old he is. he looks young." the other girl replied. you rolled your eyes, turning back to your screen.
"your total, eight dollars and forty three cents." you suddenly hear another voice exclaim.
you look towards the cashier, seeing jungkook pull out his card from his wallet. you adverted your eyes at the girl who stood behind the counter, seeing her cheeks slowly turns into a shade of red, as she eyed jungkook's figure.
how annoying.
you felt nothing but annoyance invade you due to these bashful girls swooning over a taken man. you were thankful to say, that the taken man is yours.
you couldn't help but to chuckle to yourself at the thought, feeling amused.
you watched as jungkook received the receipt from the flirty cashier, and turned on his heel to leave. but, he was suddenly stopped by the cashier woker.
"excuse me," she spoke, as jungkook turns around to look at you — meanwhile, you watched.
"i was wondering if you're taken, and if not, do you think i can get your number?" she asked, a smile on her face as jungkook smiles as well.
"thanks, but i'm taken." he responded, as you lean back in your seat, crossing your arms. you smirked proudly to yourself feeling excitement invade you.
you didn't bother to listen to whatever the female had left to say, as your mind was filled with jungkook. you were proud of his reject, somehow it made you feel confident.
but just thinking of how many girls who would flirt with him in one day without you around, annoyed you. but he's probably used to this.
"be quiet! he's coming back." you heard one of the high school girls whisper-yell to the other friend.
you scoffed, "do they not know that he's with me..." you mumbled to yourself, with your gaze fixated to the floor.
"what was that?" you hear jungkook ask. you look at him, shaking your head. "nothing." you respond. he then extended his hand out.
"you ready? let's go."
you smiled to yourself, taking his hand into yours as he helps you up from your seat.
linking arms with jungkook, he leaded you out the door. the two of you were now on your way back to the college since the café was nearby, along with some other shops.
thank god, the both of you got out of there. it was almost suffocating having to hear, and see women swooning over jungkook.
but you couldn't blame them, he is breathtakingly beautiful...
as the two of you descend down the sidewalks, on the way back to campus, you noticed as jungkook gained a few glances from random women who walked past the both of you.
surprisingly some women with their boyfriends too.
ugh, not again.
